  1. Nice article but it always makes me smile when every manager that comes in all the fans agree we need stability but as soon as things go wrong those same fans are calling for the managers head.
  2. Izale had a very good game, I was pleased for him, he seems to be finding his scoring boots, long may it continue. It was unpleasant when Notts went 2 down and the crowd started booing and moaning at every pass that went wrong, I don't know why some people call themselves supporters as they don't support when the team needs them.
  3. Yes thanks @notts-joe it works on desktop computer and also on phone now. must have been a dodgy connection last time.
  4. Northampton v Portsmouth would be a good game to watch for a neutral.
  5. Not sure whether it's my connection but the video won't load for me on my iPhone, I'll try the computer tomorrow.
  6. I think the post count can be a bit counter productive, it shows us in a bad light if there are only a few posts in the day and people may not bother because its not very busy. Perhaps @notts-joecould give us an update now and again when the stats are good, perhaps a regular feature posting stats of the week etc.
  7. Oh no, I didn't know Aborah was injured it must have happened whilst I was away, he's going to be a big miss, I hope he gets back soon.
  8. It'll be interesting to see how many Carlisle fans turn up and how their team play as it will be a bit like an away game for both teams, Carlisle are losing home advantage.
  9. I've not seen the ladies as much as I would have liked so I don't know the players that well but good to see the squad keeping together.
  10. The more I use the site and forum the more I like the changes. I am learning new things and finding new features all time. Well done everyone.
  11. Stick, see my previous comments in other threads.
  12. Is it beer time yet?

      Chris

I wonder what time Super Ram makes it? Oh forget it, it's always BEER time. :P

  13. I really enjoyed reading this, I read it with Colin's voice as he would have said it. A big thank you to Colin for joining us here on PoN, you are a legend sir. I look forward to reading more of your articles.
  14. We desperately need some fire power up front to give us more options, maybe this lad will fit the bill if he signs.
  15. I've read it, liked it, shared it etc. it's an interesting read, thanks @Blink1862
  16. Great article @Blink1862 I agree entirely, our home form has let us down over many seasons now and I am hoping that Moniz will put things right this coming season by playing attacking, attractive football that the fans can get excited about and not the "one up front", boring stuff we have been subjected to in the past.
  17. Congrats @DangerousSausage
  18. Why did you join prideofnottingham.co.uk? I'm a big fan of forums and I didn't like another Notts forum that I had joined so when I found this one in its early days it was like coming home and I got a friendly welcome from the residents which at the time were mainly Joe's family. What is your main highlight of being a member? When @notts-joe asked me to be a moderator and help build the community. More recently the PoN team hired an executive box for one of the matches, it was a great day and I met people I had only spoke to online and found they were as friendly off line as they are online. How much have you seen PoN grow during your time? As I have said when I joined there were very few regular posters and they were mainly Joe's family, since then it has grown enormously and to see new members joining on a daily basis and the posts increasing is really fantastic. As a community, what would you say are the three core values to PoN and why? 1. Respect - its what I love most about the community, there are no arguments or trolls causing trouble, we may disagree with anothers point of view but we respect it. 2. Community - There is a strong community feel about the site, we have very young members and very old members (eh @super_ram?) but all are welcome and can feel comfortable being here. There is lots of good natured banter but no one goes over the top, we have a good laugh. 3. Quality - I love the layout of the site and the fact that for me it is very user friendly, it looks professional and clean cut. A lot of hard work is put into the site mainly by @notts-joe and it certainly shows.
  19. I took it off because I thought everyone who wanted to had probably read it, I'll do another some time. Get well soon @PTID1862 kidney stones are very nasty.
  20. Somehow we have got to get back to that seige mentality that we had last season, the board, management, players and fans have got to stick together and have the attitude that its us against the world. The fans have to play their part and show their support, cut out the booing and jeering, I know that is hard when things are going wrong and we've paid good money but it's showing solidarity with the team when they need us. The players don't go out wanting to lose, they want to be successful. Lets all stick together and get out of this hole together.
  21. I agree with everything you say there @Notts-Joe, Shaun is a rookie manager learning his trade he has made mistakes and he will probably make more but to sack him at this stage of the season would in my opinion be folly, I would like him to stay on no matter how the season finishes. For the record I think we have enough to avoid relegation. I'd like to see a settled side instead of chopping and changing and I think we could finish in a comfortable mid table finish which would be progress against last year.
  22. Great interview, well done all concerned.
  23. Thanks for taking the time to answer the questions I found it to be really interesting and learnt some things I didn't know.
  24. Yes why not, always interesting to read others blogs.
  25. This is a great feature @Notts-Joe I don't know where you find the time. Well done.
