The forward players all did well, special mention to Bennett’s, Dennis and Jatta but my man of the match was Iorpenda who was unlucky with a strike that hit a post and then scored the winner which was his first senior goal I believe.

That’s a fantastic win for Notts that puts us in 2nd place and will surely give us confidence for the difficult games coming up. COME ON YOUPIES!

Well, what a first half that was, full of action and controversy, a great match for the neutral. The ref is awful Nemane shouldn’t be on the pitch after two bookable offences. I didn’t see what happened for their penalty it just seemed the normal goal mouth scramble you see all the time but the ref obviously saw something he thought was worthy of a penalty. Let’s hope Notts can beat the twelve men in the second half as the ref is obviously on their side.

Looking forward to the match and seeing Dennis linking up with Jatta, it’s a worry about Robbo though.

Good morning it’s Matchday, don’t judge me but I’m not attending tonight, I’ll watch the game on telly, the older I get the harder I find it to turn out on a winters night, I know our younger members will be thinking “armchair supporter” “part-time supporter” etc., but believe me I’ve done my stint watching Notts all over the country at awful places in awful weather, so as I say don’t judge me. On a positive note they’ve just said on the local news we are no longer in drought.

We had a walk this morning down to the cemetery to put wreaths on the graves of our son, my mum and dad and Mrs. T’s mum and dad plus her grandparents. It was incredibly mild, we’d put our big coats on and woolly hats but ended up sweating on the climb back up the hill back home.

That’s all very positive news and hopefully it’ll give the squad a boost going into a very important period.
