Good morning, it’s a cloudy start here and I noticed about six spots of rain on our bin so I don’t suppose that’ll fill the reservoirs. 😂 It’s a bit cooler outside but still very warm inside so the fan was on in our bedroom last night. I didn’t get to watch the match on YouTube as I’d planned for reasons I won’t go into but I’m probably glad I didn’t now. Of course the real test will begin at the start of the season when we take on teams at our level so I certainly do think there’s any need to worry at the moment.

Yes I think Martin will appoint a different captain, I think Matt is too quiet, it needs to be someone who leads from the front, is inspirational and is forcefully communicative not only with his team mates but with the ref.

I agree @Chris I sometimes think these emergency vehicles rushing to the scene of some incident can cause more problems than the problem they are attending, I know they need to get to the scene quickly but it can cause them to endanger lives in doing so. I do think the fire engine driver was reckless driving on the wrong side of the road overtaking a queue of traffic and going through a red light without regard to who might me coming round the blind corner i.e. me!

Hi @Robbie I’ve seen both the first two films but not Angel has Fallen, I’ll look out for that. We sat out in the garden until late it was too hot inside, we only went in when MT’s T started to get worried about insects. Would you believe we had a take away curry for tea on the hottest day of the year? Yeah I know, crazy.
