Firstly, thank you. @Michael D P, for your generous donation.

We apologise for not noticing this sooner. Your kind donation is very much appreciated and has helped pay for the site(s) server. It's really kind of you to donate to the PON site.

The past few days, work has undergone to bring back even more of features which has required extensive work.

The PON site has been working with an Italian developer who is close to fixing the league table, fixtures, first team application. He has also been tasked with updating the PONcast area, so that the first Notts County podcast ever can return. This has been in the works for over a year, with various members across the community expressing a desire to help bring it together.

We intend to hold "live" discussions, where we would encourage members to come on and have their say on matters to generate a good head start on certain content which will be promoted across our social media.

Content has been slow as of late, but that has been partly down to everything which has been going on, and @Chris being unwell.

Don't worry though, amongst these improvements more will come.

Morning all, I’m a bit late this week so apologies.

What plans have you got this weekend or if you’re reading this late what did you get up to.

In an hour or so I’ll be heading off to Long Eaton to do my 5k Park Run. Then this afternoon it’s the match of course, our youngest grandson is staying with us but he’s not into football despite my best efforts so he’s not coming.

On Sunday the rest of the family are joining us for a meal.

Whats everyone else doing/done?

Next up for Notts is Accrington Stanley who we host this Saturday.

How many links between the two clubs can we find?

I’m going for Leam Richardson who came to Notts on loan in 2001-2002 and made 17 appearances. In 2005 he turned up at Accrington Stanley and spent 8 years with them including a spell as manager.

How many more can we find?

does anyone have any ideas on what they think forced cedwyn scott to go off? it was definitely his knee, luke williams confirmed this. also, is anyone concerned about the injury itself?

i am sure scott will be okay, but hes such a good asset for the club any extended length out of the team would be gutting to see.

we do have junior morias who can come in, but its not looking good.

Before the season started we were given dark warnings from Mansfield fans that we (and Wrexham) would be shocked at how high the standard in League Two is. Now we're five games in, what are your thoughts so far?

Personally I've been less than impressed so far. Even Sutton didn't do anything we hadn't seen in the NL, we were a rabbit in the headlights that day and weren't ready. In the last three games in particular we've looked a class above the opposition. However, I think we've had a soft start - we've played three of the bottom four (and lost against one of them) and only one of the teams we've played is in the top half, and only just. The last two would struggle in the NL; Doncaster in particular were frighteningly bad and reminded me of us in our relegation season.

It's nice to be in the top four, but our next games are against the franchise (first) and Accrington (third). I think it'll take another month or so until we truly know where we rank and whether another promotion bid is realistic.

It’s a bank holiday weekend so let’s hope for decent weather. What have you got planned? 

For me it’s Park Run tomorrow then Meadow Lane for the match. Sunday no plans as yet and Monday another of my famous bbq’s, just me and Mrs T because the family are away but we’ve got a chicken so I’ll spatchcock it and stick it on the barbie, weather permitting.

Today I’ve got to complete an online refresher course for my volunteering role. Hopefully that won’t take long then I’ll have a walk with Mrs. T, we might even end up at the pub if we feel really naughty.

Tomorrow it’s park run day in the morning then the match in the afternoon which I’m really looking forward to grandson @George L is on holiday so I’m going on my own, hopefully first win of the season.

Sunday we haven’t got anything planned so I’ll update later.

A bit of a bad taste in the mouth left by the handful of fans who booed and swore at the players for taking a knee before yesterday's game. OK; you wouldn't do it. But it's their choice. No reason to boo them.  Plus there were too few of you for anyone who wasn't near you to notice.
