  2. It wasn't our best performance, but it was a job well done. I have to vote for Alex Bass, as he played a key role in our victory and helped us keep a clean sheet.
  3. Rod McDonald seems like a perfect fit for us. Even though he’s had a frustrating start with injuries, it sounds like he’s maintained a positive outlook, which is really admirable. The fact he’s talking about family and how much time he’s spent with them during recovery shows he's grounded and ready to get back to football. With our backline needing a bit of reinforcement, his experience is going to be invaluable. He mentioned some good things about Louis Macari too, so it’ll be interesting to see how they partner up. AFC Wimbledon won’t be easy, but if McDonald can settle in quickly and bring that leadership, we could be in for a good result.
  4. Blackburn Rovers 3-1 Swansea City Joker QPR 1-1 Portsmouth Blackpool 1-0 Barnsley Lincoln City 1-3 Birmingham City Bradford City 2-3 Gillingham Port Vale 0-0 Fleetwood Town Maidenhead United 1-2 Hartlepool United Sutton United 0-3 Oldham Athletic
  5. The book and play are both wonderful. It was very funny to see it live, and the whole cast did an excellent job bringing the text to the bigger stage. It sold out quite well, so I wouldn't be surprised if some didn't get to see it. I felt lucky that I managed it. I know people were calling for it to return.
  6. I don't mind either. Whoever we get, we need to make sure it doesn't become a distraction. At the same time, we need to take it seriously. It would be good to involve some of the youngsters if the team we get warrants resting some main players.
  7. In certain situations, I believe it would be worth playing them both together from the start. The bench would need to reflect this. Therefore, I think Cedwyn Scott and Jevani Brown would need to be saved in case we needed to make changes up top. There is a lot of potential for Jatta to play off David McGoldrick. McGoldrick does involve himself more, whereas Jatta is quite comfortable to wait for the ball and strike when the chance presents itself. It could be a way to return us back to winning form, but I am cautious about us doing it too often. As we have seen with McGoldrick, we need him for big games, so we need to desist from overplaying or relying on him too much.
  8. 1 Kilcline Crescent: Known as "Killer" on the market. This property is tough as nails with a fortress-like design. Perfect for those who like to keep uninvited guests out and scare the neighbours away with its fierce presence. Expecting a lot of interest from the security-conscious. 5 Slater Avenue: Affectionately known as "Uncle Colin". This charming, long-standing property has seen it all and has been through thick and thin. With an inviting, welcoming atmosphere, it's the perfect place for cosy gatherings. Comes with a lifetime subscription to the best local news, straight from the living room. 12 Richards Lane: This property is sleek, fast, and stylish. With its skillful design and tricky layouts, it promises to keep you on your toes. Ideal for those who love a challenge and enjoy outsmarting their guests in hide-and-seek.
  9. It's one of those games nobody should be too critical of, because it's difficult to go into Derby games and achieve the outcome you desire. Both teams did play well. Chesterfield had some luck and the official on their side. We had to make our own, but I wouldn't complain about the game. We managed to get a point, and there's a good chance we can build some form going forward. Avoiding the defeat, at least to me, feels like a win. I can't imagine Chesterfield fans will be happy with the way they gave the win away. Calamity defending by them for both of our goals, handling the ball so late on.
  10. I’m so glad to see David McGoldrick back and making a difference. That man brings experience, skill, and leadership all in one package. You could see the confidence boost as soon as he came on the pitch. His penalty might not have gone in at first, but credit to him for staying calm and getting the rebound. The fact that we’ve stayed unbeaten away is massive. Places like Chesterfield aren’t easy, and we held our ground.
  11. I thought George Abbott played very well and made a big difference, not just in defence but also going forward. His play was superb, especially for the first goal.
  12. It was a relief when David McGoldrick scored, although it wasn't without concern. I believe the official could have allowed play to continue when Jatta scored. The handball wasn't intentional and didn't affect the game, but giving the penalty did give them an opportunity. Their goalkeeper performed well, but thankfully we had some luck, and McGoldrick managed to score on the second attempt. We need to stay focused and keep working hard; I hope we can start a winning streak soon.
  13. Crawley Town 0-1 Shrewsbury Town Peterborough United 3-1 Rotherham United Barrow 2-0 Morecambe Cheltenham Town 0-2 Swindon Town Joker Doncaster Rovers 1-2 Crewe Alexandra Harrogate Town 0-1 Newport County Salford City 3-2 Grimsby Town Tranmere Rovers 0-3 Bradford City
  14. I thought Matt’s comments on his return from injury were really insightful. A lot of people forget the mental side of recovery and how difficult it can be to get back to full match fitness after such a long layoff. He’s been honest about how tough it was, but he’s shown resilience, and it’s paying off. Watching him control the tempo of games again has been a joy. It’s clear that he’s getting sharper with every game, and that’s only going to benefit the team. He’s also been a brilliant leader, both on and off the pitch, guiding the newer players and keeping everyone grounded. We’re lucky to have him as captain.
  15. 20-30 thousand dollars? I don’t see many regular people spending that kind of money on something that induces nightmares. That opening sequence of the robots walking reminded me of robots in the 80s, which were just as scary. When the video got going, they did seem pretty fluid. Elon Musk has been a voice against all this stuff, so it’s strange to see him involved in this.
