Notts County’s Coach Luke Williams on Adam Chicksen: ‘He Brings So Much Intensity to the Team’

i was not aware adam chicksen was injured until recently, i think he would be the ideal person to play on the left if we have doubts over kyle cameron. i still would prefer him to be on the wing, i think that would be his best position and its a shame we have not seen much of him this season, i like his delivery from crosses.

The aim now must be to rally behind Williams' words and look to improve. The dilemma we have on our hands isn't insurmountable, it's about harnessing the potential that's already within the squad. Rediscovering the intensity and the willingness to fight in every situation is the key. With Chicksen back in the team, things look a bit more hopeful.

Adam Chicksen's return is a much needed silver lining, especially at such a crucial juncture in the season. Williams is right - the team lacks the necessary intensity, and I believe Chicksen could help remedy that. Here's looking forward to a turnaround in our performances.

Glad to see Chick's back. 

Whenever I've seen Chicksen play,(admittedly only on TV)I always get the feeling there is so much more to come from him.There's no doubting his enthusiasm and effort though and he could be part of what Notts have been missing.

It’s great to have Adam Chicksen back. Hopefully, he’ll get more time on the pitch because he can be a valuable player. To bring out his best, he needs to play consistently. We haven’t seen his best this season, mostly due to his intermittent appearances.

Every word that Williams uttered rings true. The lack of urgency in our recent play is concerning. As fans, we demand the vigor, the spark. But it's not all doom and gloom, we have good reason to remain optimistic. The return of Chicksen could serve as a catalyst to change our fortunes for the better. Hoping for better days ahead for Notts County!

It would be beneficial to give Adam Chicksen a chance in the team, perhaps even as a left centre back. This would allow Kyle Cameron to shift to the middle, and if possible, Aden Baldwin could be our third option.

His future doesn’t seem to be on the wings, as we have numerous players in those positions and some will always be preferred over him for some reason. It’s more likely he will be brought on as a substitute in this area, but I can easily envision him being used as a temporary fill-in again in one of our three centre back positions.

It’s great to have Adam Chicksen back, but it’s difficult to know where he’ll fit in and when Luke Williams will give him the time to settle in. Out wide, he poses a good threat and adds another potential scorer to our team. In defence, he can do the job, but in my opinion, he’s less effective.

I’m really excited to see Chicksen back but I realise he may not be up to speed after a long lay off. Go Chicks!

We all know what Adam is capable of and he has a knack for being in the right place at the right time to score goals.

Now that we are in league 2 everyone has had to step up to the higher level.

It will remain to be seen if Adam will be able to force himself into the starting 11 on a regular  basis in 2024.
