I Really Hope This Is True

Featured Replies

I'm not going to get all excited yet, we need Aston Villa to feel the same way and the tweet just suggests the obvious to me. Jack's been telling people he wants to stay on, I'm really trying not to read into to much.

McGregor will come as some surprise if he resigns. I hope we can secure one or the other, both would be great!

Yeah both would be fantastic but one or the other would also be good, none at all and .............................................domesday scenario.

Nottingham Post have gone with the story, I'm almost 75% dancing around my house. Notts need to put it up, along with news of McGregor and I will be very happy.

Link Opps, I see Cobby shared it. :D

I am 95% certain that they will both end up signing, and I have a cast iron guarantee from a fella called John Lennon, that we can have ewan McGregor playing until the end of the season.

My knees are trembling at the excitement of it all.

Well there's no done deal yet, the Nottingham Post have mentioned he's training with us while a deal is struck out. Can Rodders manage the tide?

McGregor is still at Notts County as they try to strike a deal with Celtic to keep him for the rest of the season.

The 20-year-old's loan at Meadow Lane ended last week.

But he has not returned to Scotland and is training with the Magpies as they prepare to host Sheffield United in League One on Saturday.

I am keeping my fingers crossed, if he is still training with us it looks promising maybe it just takes time to get the paperwork sorted out, I hope Notts aren't bickering about who pays his wages or something, let's just get him signed for the rest of the season, it could be our salvation and mean we stay in this league.

Yep, it's one thing being skint, but it's another being so tight we can't move. The appointment of SD/GA was ambitious and invigorating, but if they're not going to get any financial support (even enough to keep loanees), then RT might as well have kept CK and accepted that Notts' future is non-league.

Still, that being said, we rarely know the whole truth of what goes on, the sticking point could be something else entirely.

Not sure how to read this. Grealish said he's signed on the dotted line. Yet there has been no confirmations from either Villa or Notts. Wouldn't that be going against both clubs confidentiality procedures? Not trying to burst anyones bubble, but i can't sit still until it's officially confirmed, by either club

There is some good news coming through at the moment, Im keen to us add and let go around the same time. Derry can build a little now, with luck we can escape the relegation zone.

Just need McGregor to sign now, well done Notts for getting Jack!
