its difficult for me not to mention seeing notts county gain promotion to the football league via playoffs at wembley, this moment will stay with me for the rest of my life. i think aside from this watching notts in the playoffs at meadow lane against coventry, we were robbed blind. the 2009/10 season was incredible, seeing ben davies, lee hughes, craig wesrcar and kasper all makes me thankful for getting into notts.

I went to Wembley for the first time in the early 90s with my grandfather. I remember him putting me on his shoulders and celebrating like we had won the Anglo Italian Cup.

Other fond memories include booking an executive box in the earlier PON days, bringing my dad, Mark, and meeting Tony.

There are many other times I could share, but I will leave it with this too. I am very lucky to have so many wonderful memories of Meadow Lane, some memories I have pictures of but don't remember have escaped my mind.

Probably my fondest memories were during the 90’s, when I finally had transport so could travel to away games to watch Notts on a regular basis. Used to have some great days put up and down the country.  I very seldom go to away games nowadays, but hoping to go to a few this season with them being more local.

Other than that, all of the Wembley visits have been special, and I’ve been lucky enough to go to all apart from the Covid year. Got to say though that I preferred the old Wembley experience to the new, the area has changed so much since my first trip there to watch us beat Tranmere.
