The Blackpool owner, although he’s questionable, has put money into the club. I can’t speak for the state of the squad, but they overdid things in my opinion when they got to the Premier League. The ground improvements help the club for the long term; their pitch used to be awful to see Notts play on.

blackpool fans seem to be one of the worst in the uk, i cant stand them. i know people call liverpool and leeds fans but most blackpool fans i have come across cant just be happy. its like a certain portion of our own. multiplied by 1,000 and then put on steroids. are they still owned by the dodgy bloke that alan hardy had a whiplash for posing next to him? i try not to pay attention to teams like these.

I used to have a soft spot for Blackpool, until I learned more about what a lot of their fans are like - much like Grimsby Town. They're rife with people who have grand delusions. They did well to make the Championship, let alone the Premier League.

I don't think they have enough fans to be much higher.

We are talking about how great it is for us hitting over 10k, they barely make 11.5k. Also, yes, I think even we would struggle in the Championship, but we are lucky to be situated where we are. The population of Blackpool is roughly 141k. You would think they could muster more than 12k  with a stadium the capacity of 16,616.

Their owner is dubious, but they need to support the club not him.

I don’t know much about Blackpool’s position, but I am aware that their owner invested in their stadium. If he is spending within their means, then they need to be patient because they would soon complain if the club were in the same troubles as Southend or other struggling clubs.

Blackpool has spent good money, perhaps not this season, but it’s due to their spending that they have been bouncing around the leagues. I think this is a case where Blackpool’s fans need to be mindful of what is happening across football and how overspending isn’t the best of choices. Sometimes you have to be wiser with your budget, whether their chairman is being tight-fisted or not. I still think that, provided they are a decent League One team, they shouldn’t make such demands about their spending.

I don’t know much about Blackpool’s issues or their chairman, but it reminds me of when our own fans wanted Ray Trew to spend silly money to get out of League One. Only for him to later say he won’t put any more investment into the club. Two wrongs don’t make a right. Blackpool and its fans need to meet in the middle.

The owner of Blackpool is first and foremost a businessman, and as such, he is unlikely to allow the club to become anything that would cause financial struggles. However, I have noticed that he seems to be holding back on his investment this season. Perhaps he is saving money for future improvements or trying to ensure the club’s long-term financial stability. It’s difficult to say for certain, but fans should be mindful of the club’s finances and how they are being managed.
