Are they still in trouble though or have they secured enough money to stay afloat.

Things don’t look promising for them. It would be unfortunate if financial issues affected their season’s start.

Given Swindon Town’s current form, it’s astonishing to see them in this predicament. It seems their owner may lack the financial resources to maintain or back them, so it wouldn’t shock me if this issue resurfaces down the line. I hope this doesn’t impact their performance on the pitch.

Credit should be given to them, as football is a challenging industry, and it doesn't appear that their chairman is evading or refusing to settle the expenses. It simply seems like he is facing difficulties in generating funds, unlike our previous two owners who were reluctant to make payments.

It doesn't sound good, if he's had to sell shares to pay this bill - what's future payments not resorting to needing further assets sold? I don't know, it does seem like he might not have the cash flow to keep the club secure no matter how good his intentions are.

Good luck to them, they're doing well despite this.

"It's been said recently that clubs in League Two lose on average £1m-£2m, in League One they lose £3m+ every year and in the Championship even more, all chasing success."
