It would be interesting to see our level being discussed, I have the expectation that that the majority would not fall for it but I suppose it depends who is asked.

If I did not know a player I would just say so, not pretend.

I noticed this elsewhere! I laughed my head at the names, especially the one's like Win Ding Yooup.

No I wouldn't fall for it, if I knew something I would comment but if not I wouldn't go along with it. Majority of them are either wanting to avoid seeming clueless or wanting to seem all knowledgeable.

It's a weird one. Saying you don't know a player = "oh, you're clearly not a big enough football fan to know about the lower leagues and about your team's latest transfer news". But then when dupes like this take place, it's equally mortifying.
