Notts C 2 v Middlesbrough 0

at Trent Bridge 1902. Notts won but you don't see anything of the match, just the cheering crowd, however it is great history footage, demonstrating that supporters who loved their club then were just as passionate as they are now 122 years later.

It seemed to be the done thing to take your hat off and wave it and what an assortment of different hats, a lot of bowlers, flat caps, trilbys and some straw boaters. Great stuff.

This is awesome! Are @Robbie and @Fan of Big Tone in the video? ;)

Having your picture taken was a bit of an event back in the day. I've seen pictures of streets that suddenly came alive with people because a photographer turned up with his equipment! Maybe it was the equivalent of people waving at the camera when they're on the big screen during World Cup matches :D

sky sports should learn from this, capture more footage of the fans and that for me is the only fair delay to having a game played. i bet this did not have an irregular kick off time. its great footage, nice piano playing too.

This is a great piece of our history caught on video. I also didn't know that we were one of the first clubs to have female fans present, it seems strange to hear that, but it does show how times were different.

I found some old footage of this match, that hadn't been added to the crowd footage. It's just 30 seconds be you can observe a snipet of the match & a throw in. Notice the crowd being so close to the touch line.

Some more longer footage of the match.
