We’ve had a horrible few days, I think we picked up Norovirus on the plane back from Lanzarote.

Mrs. T started first in the early hours of Saturday night, sitting on the toilet with a bowl on her knee for three hours, then on Monday night it was my turn, believe me I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. It’s lasting longer for me, the vomiting has stopped but I’ve still got diarrhoea just less frequently.

Sorry for all the detail I hope you aren’t having you tea reading this.

It cheered me up when I heard last nights results though.

Oh yuck, hope you're feeling better soon :( packed holiday flights are awful for picking up illnesses. I've had flu myself since last week, but last night's game really picked me up!

i wish you both a speedy recovery, its horrible when you pick something up on holiday and i know you were both looking forward to the holiday. i hope you managed to enjoy it, did you both become unwell near the end? that would be something at least.

The Norovirus is quite unpleasant. It’s good that you managed to get home safely, as being ill on holiday is the worst. At least it hasn’t disrupted that. Hope you feel better soon @Fan of Big Tone.

Sorry, to read this @Fan of Big Tone. Drink plenty of water and rest when you can, I hope Mrs T also recovers quickly. Being unwell is horrible, especially if it's prolonged.

Get well soon to you both.

Thanks everyone, I think I’m finally on the mend, yesterday I ate a slice of toast and some chicken soup, the first solid food for 48 hours. I may have a little walk out today but not too far as I’m really weak. It’s good for losing weight (although I don’t recommend it) I’ve lost 10lbs since coming back off holiday.

Mrs. T. Is fully back to good health now as well she had her bout before me, so hopefully we’ll get back to normal life again soon. I really don’t want to experience that again for a long time.

Right, now I need to catch up on all the news, I hear we won a match. :joker: :happybanana:

@DangerousSausage I hope you are over your flu, when you’re an old fogey like me you can get a jab, pity they don’t have jabs for Norovirus. 🙄

Glad to hear things are getting better @Fan of Big Tone! I'm back at work now, still got a lingering cough though. Maybe tomorrow will be just the tonic?
