Aston Villa 3 Notts County 4

FA Cup 4th round replay. (Quarter final in those days)

The 4th round tie at meadow lane ended Notts 2 Villa 2

Notts lost to Huddersfield in the semi final that year.

we have a good history playing villa, we might not always win but they seem to be great games between two good teams despite any difference in the playing levels.
