Croatia get a penalty for handball but the Italian goalkeeper saves it, but Croatia then score a minute later in open play.

Croatia 1 Italy 1

Albania 0  Spain 1

With just a minute to go Croatia were through to the last 16, then Italy get a fantastic goal in the last minute of injury time, so Italy go through and Croatia have to wait to see if the can qualify by a best third place finish.

Spain qualify as leaders of the group.

Italy are second and qualify.

Croatia have to wait.

Albania finish bottom

Not a good start by England, still not much press from them. England passing it around at the back. Slow build up.

Saka had the ball in the net but it was a clear offside.

The less we say about England the better. Same old tactics. No running off the ball, defenders passing it around at the back, the press is non existent.

Not inspiring at all. Will we see something different in the second half?

England’s performance was better, but there’s still room for improvement. They didn’t create enough opportunities. Gareth Southgate should have made changes more quickly. Cole Palmer was impressive!

The game was a free hit. Qualification was already secured so I don't get why Southgate didn't try out some of the players who haven't had any game time yet. It's going to be hard to bring them in for a pure knockout game now. Wharton has been outstanding for Palace this season, could have had him next to Rice or even Mainoo who was impressive when coming on. Watkins could have been given a chance to show what he can do. Gordon should have got a start on the left with Palmer on the right, he showed how good he is when he came on. Konsa was good in the friendlies could have been given game time. It was a chance to rest the likes of Kane and Bellingham who both look knackered and a bit off their game. Trippier could have been rested to recover his calf. Walker could have been given a rest.
