It might have something to do with me not watching the Match of the Day very often, but why don't we see goals like these now? Matt Le Tissier was doing it week-in-and-out back in the earlier years of the Premier League.

There's some cracking individual goals scored, most are team based but this type of brilliance I don't see as often.

Paulo Wanchope, Gazz, Les Ferdinand, Robbie Folwer, Chris Sutton, Alan Shearer, Teddy Sheringham, Dion Dublin, Dwight Yorke, Ian Wright, Paul Merson etc - all made scoring volley goals easy. Some might not have done it every week, but in a season they would have put several past a keeper.

Those are some volleys! I think defences these days make it harder for players to score, but from time to time, you do see a good volley.

some very good goals in that clip, all are well taken but some a different level.

It takes a level of skill and technical ability to hit volleys so perfectly. I enjoyed watching those goals.
