This government is admitting that heat pumps may never be cheaper than gas boilers. even though they are  sneakily increasing gas boiler tax that will push up prices.

Voters were warned. Labour are the party of high taxes. Now the new generation see it to their cost.

FULLFACT.ORG

We’ve looked at the figures after shadow chancellor Rachel Reeves told BBC Radio Essex that taxes were “at a 70 year high” and due to increase.

The Tories oversaw the highest tax burden in 70 years. ! C'mon @Robbie acknowledge at least, that it's the fault of the Tories!

Good @Robbie Ar least we agree that "we will lower energy bills for working people" isn't exactly true!!!!🤫

Agreed, Labour won't lower energy bills for working people but Reform will.

Sorry, it's totally disrespectful @Robbie to then go back and then edit a previous post, which alters the context.

What I would say Reform's "...force National Grid to bury cables underground"

Those costs will INCREASE Electricity bills significantly. So please don't spread untruths that Reform will lower electricity bills when it's simply not the case.

Come on Mr P. You didn't read the post correctly, and I tried to make it clear for you, so people reading wouldn't get the wrong impression.

My issue wasn't with what Reform said, it was with what you added at the bottom of your quoted post.

As for disrespect. Deleting posts you don't agree with  isn't a good look, just because you have the power to do it.

If you had a personal issue with it, it would have been more sensible to report it and let someone else deal with it.

As for my post you deleted without even messaging me to voice your concerns first, I dispute that it was off topic.

It was relevant to what this Government is doing, wasting more public money on projects abroad, while pumping money into and giving subsidies on the race to Net Zero. In the meantime , Labour keep going on about the £22 billion black hole. There's no money according to them. But they keep finding it to spend spend spend.

@Robbie No, the consequence of you going back to edit, when I had already posted a response is not on. It changed the context.

The post had nothing to do with Net Zero, just a GB News propaganda piece.

That's your opinion. I don't agree.

@RobbieIf you can remember back to school days, especially exams, you need to answer the question in front of you. By the same principles, the posting had no relevance to the titled "topic". If you cannot see that, I am sorry for you.

Please, let's cool this down and switch to discussing Notts - something we should be able to all agree on. This is why politics risks being banned, due to the fact it's such a hot topic.
