It is indeed great news, Palmer is a great asset to the club.

Great news, unfortunately I noticed it like an hour after the announcement, so I didn't cover it. It was a little difficult being at The Magpies Circle's event. Yet, it was great news and put a spring into my step. :D

Matt Palmer is a player we can get far more out of, so I am delighted to see him sign an extension.

I think that Matt's extension of contract is very significant & sends out a message that Notts want to keep hold of their best players.

I'm sure that the Notts fans would love to see Dan Crowley put pen to paper too.

We will just have to see what develops as far as Dan is concerned after the new year.

Yes, great news indeed. From his past few appearances he seems to be back his best and we know how important he is to how we want to play. I think even had it got to the end of the season he 100% would've been offered a new contract and I'm confident he would've re-signed but it makes sense to get it all sorted as early as possible if you can. So credit to the club for getting it all sorted!

The silence on Dan Crowley, very reminiscent of Ruben's.... One gets the feeling if there was a deal to sign, he would have signed it by now. Bids in January or do we see out his contract?

Personally, I don't think Dan will be going in the January transfer window. Due to his injury, he's now missed six league games & counting, so potentially interested clubs would want to be satisfied regarding his fitness, & it will take weeks to get Dan to the level he was before his injury.
