Another must win game for Notts against a side that has had some dissapointing results of late.

I think Mk Dons are in a false position in the league & they are a very dangerous side & must not be  underestimated by the Notts fans.

I'm sure that Nemane and Crowley will be fired up to prove a point & Notts will need to be at their very best to counter their threat.

I would pick the same team that played so well at Newport. We know that Notts have struggled at home against teams that are content to defend & hit Notts on the break.

I do believe that the Dons will want to play some football against Notts & that might give the Notts players more space to work some magic. I really do hope that is the case.

I think it will be a very close match & the odd goal will  probably win it. If Notts can keep it tight at the back & pinch that odd goal, I think they can get the result we all want

Got to try and get a home win and kick on here. The Newport win should give us a bit of confidence going into it, and second half against Crewe was promising, just go for it from the off!

I think the players will have some personal motivation to show Dan Crowley what he’s missing out on, given he was basically waiting until January to join them. We've still got a lot to play for, they haven't so I'm half hoping that sways a few more 50/50s our way.

At least Luke Williams hasn't turned up there (yet) as that would've been the last thing we needed!

Listening to Stuart in his pre MK Dons presser, Lucas Ness is close to being considered for his return to the side after injury. McDonald & Jones are coming on well with their recoveries too. Hopefully we will see all three back in contention very soon.

Regarding the match against MK Dons, Stuart believes it will be a very tough match because they have very good players which could easily turn a match for them.

It goes without saying that Notts will have to be at their best again to get a favourable result.

I’m dreading Crowley scoring and standing in front of the kop with his ears cupped, there could be a riot. Crowley and Nemane will definitely be trying their best to help MK Dons get a win, we need to mitigate their threat.

I think the match will be a feisty affair.

Stuart's team to face M K Dons.

Grant comes in for Jatta, who's on the bench after missing yesterday's training due to illness. COYP!

It's a bit of a blow that Jatta doesn't start. He's had an illness and hasn't trained this week. He's on the bench but unless Notts really need him, he won't be risked by Stuart.

I think he's been picked just to keep MK Dons guessing & the Notts fans optimistic.

Strange that Stuart didn't pick Traore to start the match, but Grant has been chosen over him tonight. I just hope Stuart has made the right decision.

What a win that was, some great performances but for me Jarvis was my MoM, fantastic defensively he kept Nemane quite and in attack he made the second goal and scored a belter for the third.

Fantastic win tonight for Notts. The manner of the win too. Stuart must be so proud of them

That's two wins on the bounce, our 2nd consecutive clean sheet. Our 16th clean sheet of the season.

CMON U PIES!!!!

A great result that moves into a very handy position, and a great time to hit form too.

What a strike this was from Wil Jarvis.

Slocombe - 7 - One wayward pass. Apart from that, decision making was on point. Didn't have to make many saves.

Macari - 7

Platt - 7.5

Bedau - 7

The above 3 did well, but weren't very busy.

Jarvis - 9 - Somebody empty this lads pockets, he's been smuggling a 5 ft French lad.  I've been critical of his performances in the past. He's growing into it. Today, exceptional. Defensively he was almost faultless and kept a dangerous Nemane and Crowley combo almost silent. Had Nemane every time going forward.

Tsaroulla - 8 - Pleased he got his goal today. Shooting has been wayward this season, but took tonights well.

Palmer - 8 - Bossed the midfield. Dan who? Tackling and pressing a noted improvement.

Abbott - 8 - Brilliant player.

Whitaker - 7 - Did well. Not everything came off, but he kept going, pressing.

Didzy - 8 - It's Didzy.

Grant - 5.5 - I'm aware I might be scapegoating him or isolating him repeatedly, but... I'm not sure what he does. Floats about and 'nearly' gets to the ball first, 'nearly' escapes his man. Just think he's a bloke that fills a role and adds balance, but doesn't actually do much.

Note on Traore. Isn't adapting well. Needs a pre-season before we judge him properly.

Buckle up everyone if Notts can maintain this form it’s going to be a really exciting end to the season, the goals are coming from midfielders as well as the forward line now, our goal difference is looking good and don’t forget Jodie Jones is coming back from injury and could feature very soon. Happy days. :happybanana:

Did Dan Crowley receive boos? I wasn't able to make the game due to personal reasons, but I couldn't help but smile. Our fans booed Aaron Nemane at MK Dons, which I thought was odd.

Great goals by us!

David McGoldrick and Will Jarvis clearly had a little bit of friendly competition between themselves. What an impressive display of skill by them! Clinical finishing from a point on the pitch, you have to have something about you to score strikes like those.

I kept up-to-date with the score, which I smiled once Didzy had made it one-nil. The next time I checked we were 3-0 up, and I was praying that we would maintain that clean sheet. I get the feeling we have been working on striking the ball from distance when the opportunity comes. Hopefully we continue to work hard in training and see it pulled off live in games. I felt like we were starting to drift off, but wins like this and the one against Newport County shows we're still pushing. Just when you feel like trying to settle on hopes of the playoffs, Notts makes it clear we are capable of reaching the automatics.

Great team performance, even after the fact the game is still enjoyable to watch.

It was a pretty dominant and straight-forward win in the end. We were a tad over-cautious in the first half, but the second half made up for it!

Jarvis is looking like the player we thought we were getting, I didn't think he had that defensive side to his game but he nullified the threat from Nemane all night. It's his ability to just pick the ball up and glide past players that makes him stand out though, he makes it look effortless. And for all the stick the inverted wing-backs got earlier in the season (me included) they worked last night. Tsaroulla was excellent on the right hand side as well, finally we are getting some goals and assists from him!

Just felt good to get a home win again, even with all the injuries we seem to be in a good place now for these final matches.
