The Beach boys were an iconic group that defined the music of the sixties.

Very sad news today. His passing is a big loss to the music industry & his devoted fans across the World.

As a tribute to Brian I've posted this.

Brian is on the guitar to the left of Mike Love who was singing lead vocal on this track.

The Beach Boys were a regular played towards the weekend once school was finished when I was younger. We would play quiz games, darts and other things whilst various popular music of my parents was on in the background. Their music was always on the brighter side, which is something I liked.

Out of all the songs, such as "Wouldn't It Be Nice", "Kokomo", "Surfin' USA", "California Girls", etc.

It's God Only Knows, which I tend to reflect on. The intro just has something about it.

Very sad news.The Beach Boys were a group whose latest releases were anticipated with as much eagerness as The Beatles or The Stones and Brian Wilson was the genius behind them.Rest in Peace Brian Wilson.

He was a musical genius with clever and fun lyrics. It’s very sad to hear of his passing at the age of 80. May he rest in peace.

I know of the Beach Boys and have listened to their music, but I'm not too familiar with the members. From reading the comments, it seems he was one of the main members and wrote many of the lyrics.

It's very sad to hear that he has passed away.

RIP to a true genius - the Beach Boys' cheesy name and public image didn't do justice to the depth of their music, and that was down to Brian Wilson. God Only Knows is one of the best songs ever made.
