Good morning it’s a new week and we are in for a scorcher this week, temperatures are set to rise to around 30 degrees again, guess I’d better get the fan back out from the loft.

We’ve got the last few jobs to do before our carpet is fitted tomorrow, the old carpet is now taken up and on the drive ready for the tip, we’ve done the bits of painting and touching up needed, we’ve just got to get as much furniture out as we can, the carpet fitters will have to move the rest as they lay the carpet.

I hope everyone is well, let us know what you’re up to this week.

Good morning all. It's been a nice warm day here with the occasional Sunny intervals.I have spent time in the garden today weeding & general maintenance.

All the summer flowers are in bloom & looks magnificent. I just need to cut the lawn tomorrow morning, then things are set for a week or so garden wise.

We've bought an insect netting which fits over our large sun parasol to keep the insects off us. I will fix it up once I've mowed the lawn.

I can report that we've had the fans on again today as it's getting warm inside. It's 76 deg F in our living room.

Today at times has been quite unbearable for me; my house is positioned facing the sun and doesn't have any protection to prevent it from becoming too hot. I choose not to moan completely, so I will leave it there.

I have spent most of the day updating PON, adding data, and providing feedback on the most recent application, which is progressing very nicely.

The dev has done a wonderful job with the UI and with taking on board my suggestions. If anyone remembers the old app, it had become quite bloated and difficult to update, but this is not the case with the new app. There is a lot of data needed to get the most out of certain features, but it will be well worth it with what is coming, and I am very excited about it.

Good morning, it’s carpet laying day here so we are up early, I hope they come on time and get it done quickly so we can start getting the house in order again.

It’s going to be a hot one so if your outside slap some factor 50 on and wear a hat, I’ve got a nice crater in the top of my skull where the surgeon dug out a lump which was cancerous, you seriously don’t want to go through that.

Enjoy your day whatever you are doing.

The carpet was laid in less than two hours, that’s pretty good going as it’s a long lounge diner and they are big rooms. We’ve got most of the furniture back now including “cheesy” our 50 year old Swiss cheese plant whose been with us since we were married and has moved house with us three times.

Do you have a spare room? I quite like the look of your house and I need somewhere to stay when I come over for home games......I like a cup of tea in the evening, milk no sugar and a couple of chocolate digestives please.......🤣

Another beautiful day here. Update early to get into the garden to do my three time weekly garden maintenance.

Watered all the plants using a watering can not a hose. We have to do our bit to save as much water as we can. It's been a dry summer.

The Mrs was out dead heading all the flowers, an essential job as it keeps the plants flowering as long as possible.

This afternoon it became a little windy here. Sun and wind at the same time. We've had a few of them days this glorious summer.

Thursday, and what a beautiful, gentle morning it is this morning. The suns rays carefully caressing all as it meanders it's way through leaves and branches of the surrounding trees. A lovely light breeze carrying the cool of the day intermingled with the cacophony of early morning birdsong, what a great privilege to be alive and have the ability to hear, feel and smell one and all.

@Piethagoram It’s a lock down project by Mrs. T. It was Painting by numbers four seasons of a tree. The stag picture on the other wall is from a photo our son took.

Surgical molar extraction yesterday, anyone had one of those?

It was heavy going for a while immediately after but pills allowed me to sleep and it's bearable today. I don't know what I can eat though. Hopefully, Notts can cheer me and everyone else up tomorrow.

Good morning, I woke Mrs. T up at 1 am shouting HELP! at the top of my voice, I was having a nightmare, thankfully we both nodded off again. I seem to have regular nasty dreams that wake me up heart pumping, sweating etc. it’s a real pain.

Anyway today I have a doctors appointment about my blocked ears so hopefully I’ll get some respite from that soon.

@theAnticlough i’ve had a molar taken out at the dentist, how does that differ from a surgical extraction, what’s the procedure, did you have to go to hospital?

What I learned recently @Fan of Big Tone is that when a tooth can't be extracted in the usual way it has to be extracted 'surgically'. So when a tooth is split, cracked or whatever you can't grip it as a whole tooth with the forceps. The gums have to be cut open so the dentist (or 'Oral Surgeon') can get at it piece by piece. And then you're stitched up afterwards. So it felt like about 3 separate extractions and there all the parts were on the table afterwards. I'm not sure if the terrible pain I had after was worse because of the surgical part of it. All I know is that it's 500% better today :)

@Fan of Big Tone, always hated dreams! I've been happy that I remember very few...and those rare ones that I do, I give little attention to, just dismiss and forget.

I think we can solve all our problems with the conscious mind. I don't need to see a random acquaintance from 40 years ago come back and scare the living **** out of me!

@theAnticlough the tooth extraction sounds horrendous, I’m glad your feeling better.

You have a nice house Piethagoram, and love that you've done it up in black and white, but you've got to keep on top of that big lawn of yours

Woke up this morning and looked out over the sea, it seemed so calm, as though all was at ease with the world. Hope is not always fulfilled I'm afraid to say, but for that minute it worked.

Took my lovely wife to see one of her favourite singers yesterday evening, Friday. She totally emersed herself in the vocals of Olly Murs for 90 minutes.

It's nice down here on the south coast, Sunny Margate is giving us the most.

Good morning it’s a lovely start to the day, I’m a lazy bones so far, it’s 9.33 and I’m not dressed. I might watch the Fword match on telly this afternoon I hope Brentford win, I’ll be rooting for them.

What’s everyone else up to today?
