Whether it's the recruiting system or not that causes issues but three players, Jarvis, Morias & Traoré who just didn't seem to get any traction at Notts makes you wonder.

I hope Will can make his mark at Shelbourne.

I'm quite sad it never worked out for him, his first touch and particularly his dribbling was far better than you see from most players at this level.

I think when he first signed it was said he can play anywhere across the front 3 positions, which aside from a striker we don't play wingers/wide forwards! It was never going to work out for him long-term as a wingback and I guess the coaches thought he's not going to be able to have an impact as a No.10 either.

Hope he does well at this new club though, he's not short on talent in my opinion.

Bit of a theme here. We ship all of our unwanted to the extremes of the union: Kyle Cameron, Traore, Roos and now Jarvis. 🤔

Two of those definitely aren’t in the ‘union’ 😊

Get your point though.

Cameron ended up where I suppose the club wants to avoid - at a promotion rival.

I felt sorry for Roos, Going down to 10 after 4mins at Ibrox isnt going to end well. 2026 hasn’t started so well for him

Jarvis is no loss, talented lad but application and consistency were sadly lacking. He’ll be better off back where he’s had most success. If Jones can maintain a decent fitness level we have more than enough capable wide players, particularly with the arrival of Enoru.

Never understood all the fuss about Jarvis tbh, one mazy run and a spectacular goal - that was it, full stop. Thus, sensible decision to let him go, he was never going to displace Tsaroulla, Jones, Bennetts, Enoru or the likes of Grant or Iorpenda.

Best outcome for the player and the club, sometimes things don’t work at for players at a club but they go on to be a success at another one.

Best wishes to him.

I think it’s a sign that the recruitment is going in a slightly different direction. We have tended to sign young talented players with technical skills that have a sell on value. While that is still the case in some instances, they realize that to get out of league 2 more is needed. While we have signed Luke Browne our defensive options are strong so he has time to bed in. Whereas Lee Ndlovu and James Belshaw are ready to make an impact. Beck-Ray Enoru is probably somewhere in the middle.

Totally agree @McPie . I feel MP has shown he has significant influence on the technical board. The signings of Ndlovu and Belshaw are clearly designed for the now in Division 4, while the others are a nod to the near future. In the case of Enoru and Tangen perhaps the not too distant future.

Shame it didn't work out for him here, he was clearly a very talented player who sometimes did eye-catching things, but too often a passenger with little impact on games. Hope things work out better at his new club.
