What a fantastic win for Notts. The win was just a typical Martin Paterson win away. Notts struggled for 70 minutes but the substitutions made all the difference.

So who's your Man of the Match for Notts? Here are the players I have chosen for you to choose your favourite.

Belshaw, Macari, Platt, Bedeau, Tsaroulla, Norburn, Iorpenda, Jones, Grant, Hall, Dennis, McDonald, Bennetts, Kouhyar, Tangen.

Norburn was a hero today, so he gets my MoM

It needed something special and boy did he deliver that. There was also that pass to Kouhyar for the winner. He's actually a good, progressive passer of the ball, I'd like to see more of that.

Platt was good. The subs made all the difference. All did well, but what an accomplished player RodMac is. Great to see him so into it as well, after not being able to get his place back.

Jodie put some great crosses in and scored a last minute goal with his first ever headed goal BUT I think I have to give it to Norburn for the reasons stated by @The Anti-Clough pity I can’t vote twice.

Matty Platt was brilliant at the back and dealt with Walsall well.

Tom Iorpenda and Nick Tsaroulla are also two I considered, whilst I thought Jodi Jones played an important role he wasn't exactly his usual self and I found some of his decisions/play to be wasteful. Ollie Norburn wasn't really in it until we made changes, so I can't vote for him despite agreeing he was a hero today.

@Chris I included the subs in the players list today because I believed they were game changers today. Just an observation, but sometimes I get the impression that some players aren't comfortable against sides that play a certain way.

When Grant & Hall had been struggling & when they were replaced, Norburn seemed to improve. & the team played more cohesively, with a small change in shape. It seemed to me that Norburn showed a lot of vision with that cross field pass to Kouhyar. He has a bigger string to his bow than some imagine.

It was a good decision, because they did make an important impact.

Some may very gain a vote or two, so it is best that they were included. I felt very sorry for Conor Grant, he couldn't get going and it was mostly due to how we played. The lack of space creation, but that did change when the subs came on.

Norburn for me, the volley and that pinged pass!

A close second for me was Bennetts. Has the physicality and directness to play the #10 role we have been missing

I have to agree with @Piethagoram & choose Norburn for his two moments of quality that went a long way in getting Notts the win.

Those two moments of quality could have easily been witnessed in a PL match.
