I like this. A very strong start to the summer signings. An established player, probably not yet reached his peak. Seems to stay fit. Fans favourite. Gets stuck in and, oh...scores goals (especially when playing in a team of ten men against promotion rivals. Also, has a long throw. The only doubt is that his recent experience has been as part of a back four. But maybe this is a signal of a tactical tweak or an attempt to find more flexibility.

Keep 'em coming. Roberts next ...

Sounds like a good signing, more to come I’m sure, this is going to be an exciting pre season.

From a Cambridge fan "Gibbo is a good signing for Notts. We would've kept him but he wanted to move closer to home for his young kids.
Played most of his earlier career as a FB but excelled with us last few months as a wide CB, overlapping and getting I think 6 goals and 6 assists.
Last season was by far his best with us - he struggled a bit at times in league one but was still a useful back up even then. All Cambridge fans will wish him well I'm sure."
