Favourite Childrens Programmes

Just spotted an actor on TV and it reminded me that 'The Deamon Headmaster' was a household favourite.

You aren't half posting twice, double posting.. tut tut..

No, it's okay. I haven't seen the advert but I strangely watched Super Ted at 3am something the other night. I thought it was pretty poor as a child but I found it pretty funny, can't list it in my top 50 but it's something the kids can watch. I hate them watching today's watered down life lessons, so boring!

I never saw much of these as they were on when I was working.I do see a lot of the current kids shows though,Muddy, thanks to the grand kids.(some drive me round the bend)

Programmes like Rainbow,Play Away and Sesame Street used to drive me round the bend .

I can go back further-Muffin The Mule.

                                 Prudence Kitten,

                                 The Woodentops.

I found them all boring and pointless, but as previously stated  I loved Bill and Ben.

You know you love "Peppa pig" and "Ben and hollys little kingdom" Super ram... Your always going on about finding them funny.

At the moment Ellie's always wanting them on here too, but Ava still loves "Barney" and her new favourite(although its not actually new) "Thomas the tank engine".

I used to like Rainbow and Sesame street.

The members who have never seen Peppa Pig will wonder what on earth we're talking about.

They probably will, most have probably seen or at least heard of it though as there is lot of toys and other things with it on too.

We may not agree on children's tv programmes but at least we like the same team haha!!

Sorry 2pies,this one is a complete mystery to me or my memory's gone.No comments thank you!

For years I thought I was cracking up. That song was stuck in my head. Just couldn't remember the show, just had memory flashes of the chubby presenter and that dam song. Think the format was eventually stolen and changed by Playschool or some such program. Circ 1965.

Here's an example.

Thanks for that,2pies.I think when it was broadcast I would be working  and too old for kids programmes (not cool for a teenager)The clip did however cause a little tinkle of bells somewhere at the back of my mind.I wonder if my younger sister watched it in the background whilst I was doing something else.

A eureka moment 2pies.It drives me mad when I can't remember things like old programmes or who was in them etc.I drive my wife mad trying to remember.
