Hopefully the revolving door will be still for a while now we have Shaun at the helm.

This couldn't come at a worse time.

The unity around the club is immense, highest I've known for a long time and even in the Munto days there wasn't the level of passion which we see today. Yes, it's been bad here for sackings and it probably should have been so high. In fact, no it should be much lower. Yet, majority even we the fans was calling for their dismissal.

Right now I'd rather see us focus on the potential of having a manager who might be here for 3-4 more years. Provided we go in the same places as Derry does and we keep behind him, it will make it harder for another club to take his services from us.

HE IS ONE OF OUR OWN! ;)

Managers come and go but the owners/chairmen remain and just like managers make mistakes with their signings so do the owners/chairmen.

I hope he has found the one.

Putting it blunt if he pulled the trigger on shaun derry, the repercussions would not be good.

I feel we have found a manager to make at least 3 seasons, provided other clubs keep their hands off. That is the only thing which worries me, i do not see him being fired.

Very misleading.

The article does not take into account a change of ownership (which usually heralds a change in manager) and counts appointments which were only caretaker and never meant to be permanent. Also, remember that the first manager appointed was on a short term contract and decided himself not to extend. The article also seeks to provoke a feeling that it is solely a chairman "responsible" for departures and does not take into account the various other factors.
