Like Father, Like Son?

Great interview this with a young man (and don't forget his Dad!) who has the World at his feet as long as he can step up and make the grade.

Dad is a real enigma. A marmite kind of guy, love him or hate him. I l enjoyed watching him work, but revelled in his style and presence!

What happened to Michael Watson changed Eubank! After that he found it hard to finish off fights.

But you have to hand it to him, he always knew how to "work it", and is doing again by the look of it. In the interest of entertainment, did Nigel Benn have any sons?

Those were brutal fights.

I watched Chris is a documentary a few years back when his eldest was quite young (it was filmed many years before the release). He said that his son's wouldn't be going into boxing, that he lives well enough as a spokes person that they wouldn't need to work like he did. I wasn't a big fan of how he treated his wife, who was doing virtually everything.

This might go down wrong but I think Chris was very overrated.

If his son aspires to be good, he should focus on other boxes.

I don't think it goes down wrong, but the majority may disagree with you!

A showman and a good boxer, but as @PTID1862 said, he did suffer after that fight and lost his edge.

No problem with that.

As a fighter he was past his best when I saw him.

Just curious, as anyone seen how he treats his wife? He's very old fashioned and she never has a day off, where he freely goes out for drives in his expensive to run car.

Good boxer,rather eccentric though.

As I remember he certainly was a bit eccentric and a real showman but a very good boxer.
