Anyone remember him playing for Notts? What a phenomenal long throw he had, he got into the Guiness Book of Records in 1994 by recording the longest ever throw in first class football 41 metres, if we got a throw within distance of the goal he would hurl it into the area. I remember being gutted when we sold him to Birmingham along with another great player at the time Paul Devlin.

Anyone else got any memories of him.

Proud to be a Notts County Supporter for over 60 years.

Yeah, he was a player during my childhood. I always looked to be a lot like him as a player! It wasn't just his throwing but the flare he possessed on the wing. Really good player and when he left us I was disappointed!

Him and Phil Turner made one hell of midfield.

A field where dreams become reality.

Great player! Icon of 90s for notts and sums up what I want to see in a player.

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.
