He's back at Leicester. Tweeted this:

"Wanna say a big thanks to the Notts County fans for making me feel welcome. Shame it didn't work out but that's football."

Blyth didn't really impact, Cofie fizzled out. I would of kept one but not the other, I hope this doesn't mean a slower end to our season. Come on Notts make our day! Respect to both Jacob and John, goodluck back at your respective clubs.

It was worth a try. Maybe we should have tried Waite instead. Cant see any player of any standard wanting to come to Notts on loan at the moment.

Thoughts on Cofie during his loan spell? Given the chance would any of you take him on as an option if he was to be released by us say, has he done enough to warrant a contract offer?

Sadly, I don't think he did Steve, we need a proven goalscorer, Cofie may be one in the future and would be a squad player at best in my opinion.

I was waiting for somebody else to answer, I think Tony sums Cofie up well but I personally like him, I also see the quality he holds and I have no doubt he will be valuable to somebody in the future. He reminds me of Brandy, just needs someone to guide him a little and he could very well come good. I would of kept him, although I would throw him on as a sub more rather than always start him in the majority of games.

Shame it didn't work out, if the circumstances were a little different I think he would of done better. (isolated and cancelled out) He did like to try his best and run at the opposition defenders ;)

both players could of been hidden gems, sadly neither hit the ground running for Notts.

Shame, really. I do see this as being his last season with us.

We've got a decent crop of young players, so I feel Cofie will of missed out unless the coaching staff have been pleased. He will most likely end up at Shrewsbury and banging them in for fun!
