What division have you see Notts in the most during your time as a spectator? Best memory from that division?

Where should Notts be realistically?

Opinions, I want opinions please.

Notts will always be a old division one club for me, so that would be playing us in the Championship. I sincerely hope your fortunes change, I like Meadow Lane.

Over my 50 odd years we've probably yo-yo'd between the bottom two divisions, I would love us to at least establish ourselves as a Championship club in my lifetime.

League One is where we belong based on our history, plus we have spent the majority of my life playing in either of the two basement divisions. I do think in principle that we are a Championship side, yet I do not believe for a second we have a devine right to be there and the only way we will return is if we get everything in place in order to achieve it. We need Meadow Lane packed with support, we need players good enough but focused enough to make a difference and things will just click. Hopefully Moniz can be the man who will build a competitive squad.

What qualities do you require to be a good League One side?

I am sure if this question was asked enough, we may sign players that fit into a patterned system whereby each offer something different or unique, problem is as a club I feel we go for players who play too similar in style and when we lose someone we look for a matching replacement (where the quality becomes poorer in my opinion, at least commonly).

League One is where I have watched most of my football. I think you only "belong" in the division you're in, you are where you are on merit. Whatever, we certainly aren't a "natural" Championship side any more - we have spent just 5 of the last 30 years higher than League One, and our gates wouldn't come close to sustaining us in the second tier.

We now need to get out of League Two pronto, before League One becomes the far-off, wistful dream the second tier has become.

I started watching Notts in the early-mid 1970s in the old old second division, now the championship. If we could get back to being competitive at that level I would be happy

I'd have to say League 1 is the most for me. But i've seen all 4. I prefer looking down than up.

Championship Stability would be a Dream right now.

As @Canadian, seen them in all four. The most regular? Unfortunately in the 35odd years I've been going it is the bottom two. We are where we are and at the end of a season, that is where deserve to be.

I hope that Moniz can change things for the better, but only time will tell.

I have said before though, this appointment has the feeling of being 'different' and I. Only hope that s for the better!

most of my time supporting notts we have been a league two team, im gutted to see that we are back but i am focused on the return to higher things provided the club actually learn.

last season was a warning sign to get it right, now this is the must.

League one for me but I do believe we are a Championship squad. The Trews need to get us there or I fear we will end up just a mediocre team.

Championship is our level, if only the players could just focus on expressing themselves in a way we could win games. Get back there ASAP!
