Ah Youpies that was the one I couldn't remember, I had high hopes for that but the owner didn't have the passion or commitment that @notts-joe obviously has for this site.

Maybe it would be an idea for PON to offer links to other teams' sites and vice versa?

To some degree this already exists, however many privately owned fan sites are in the hands of 'none fans' and don't permit linking up, whilst others are just very unfriendly towards opposition supporters.

In fact, I got banned on one site for being a Notts fan.

Very bad practice banning people for no reason, especially for the reason I was given.

@tonyhateley - I had only just logged in! After taking 30 minutes to literally fill all the required information the fan site wanted to know, I then proceeded to 'activate' my account and then once I logged in, I had a message flash before me, saying that I had limited account features because I had been temporarily banned. A few minutes later, I received a PM from a very unfriendly admin who said something along the lines of 'Your kind are not welcome here, we don't mind some fans of other clubs but certainly not yours. You have been banned indefinitely'.

I tried to reply, only to receive a message which said 'You're not allowed to use the personal messaging system' and providing a silly code #0833 (whatever the number was).

I e-mailed all three main admins, only two responded and they wasn't encouraging either, so I ended up posting on their version of MAD. :o:lol:

@Captain Sticky - I'm very much looking forward to seeing you this upcoming season pal, whilst I may kid and joke about things. Your hat will not be missed

Plus any potential away days! As Gillingham was fun, despite the score.

I have roamed but I have to admit, I had given up posting about Notts a long time ago. It was only from reading the content and seeing the videos in which encouraged me to take part in PON.

Seeing one place turn into freefall sort of puts you off.

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.
