Not confirmed yet, but I think RT has already said we are just waiting on the paperwork.

This signing worries me a little. We are not exactly light in the CM department, and although this guy has played for Ajax, he has also played for Gillingham in L2 and made 1 appearance before being released.

Bit harsh to judge a player before he's signed, but....Mark Fotheringham v2?

He looked good all be it against alot less opponents if he signs we will just have to see how he does at league level

I think his time at Gillingham may be more about wages, as he went onto bigger and better. Judge him once signed, otherwise we are having our say on a player who does not matter.

Stanley Aborah could do a job here IMO.

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.

I always say it but a quality team can bring the best out of players, plus as already mentioned he's featured for better than Gillingham afterwards. Let's face it, the midfield will be a close fought contest and it's not going to become easy for players to establish roles for themselves. He appears to have pedigree and ability, so Moniz may be able to get that out of him.

I wouldn't knock the signing, any player who's played where he has done should offer us something. If we can do better, that's for opinions to discuss but Moniz seems to like him.

Given today's match what was said in the quote is probably right. Didn't have much to do but he was good defensively, had close control and had good passing range too. Not getting my hopes up over one match but I have a feeling he could be the holding midfielder we've gone years without

This two player per position is a new experience for Notts with Swerts and now Aborah both quality dm's.

Still need a RB, No 9 and another C Defender for me :)

Lets hope Stanley can impress the folks with doubts, he seems steady and we have enough quality around him for this to be a decent signing. I am not sure he will be playing regularly but he will be fighting for a place.

Nice to see squad being double possessed like Moniz spoke of.

Happy with this one he looked quality in the 3 games he's been on trial now let's see how he handles bigger tests in the next few weeks.

Lets face it, a lot of the players must be given time to settle and contribute to the best of their ability. We cannot just expect them to hit the ground running but we should be very solid going forward.
