Christmas pudding?

So following on from the sprouts thread, do you like Christmas pudding?

Custard or brandy butter, do you set fire to it.

We have custard and alway pour a couple of songs of brandy on top then set fire to it.

Don't like it, never have and never will.

When I was younger, I used to work at Restaurant that did the traditional Christmas party. This was my first job and I did it very well, yet one of the senior waitresses who didn't like new people 'rising' above her became sort of an hassle with pretty much anyone beneath her. Generally, I was asked to take care of the Christmas pudding accompanied by another staff member who would cut it and serve it.

Well this certain person who was starting to feel uneasy about newer staff, decided that she would take care of the Christmas pudding all by herself.

Whilst attempting to serve it, her tie dangled into the flames of the set alight Christmas pudding and because her black apron was fuelled by wine and other alcoholic drinks, it quickly spread (even at this stage she refused to listen to people or allow for help).

Thankfully she was okay but the morale of the story is, keep safe! Don't have Christmas pudding!

When I was young we used to spend Xmas day at my paternal grandparents. My grandmaΒ  made christmas pudΒ  and also rice pud as an alternative.I had neither as I was always too full after the main course
