The bookies have it all wrong I'm sure

Sheridan odds on 5/2

Chris wilder from 20/1 to 4/1

Mark Cooper drifting out to 6/1 from 4/1

Baraclough as drifted further away as to Darren purse and chris Powell

But odds on Sheridan and wilder behind him unrealistic I can only dream tho

:( its not looking promising.

chris wilder Sheridan and cooper and Clarke are top 4 but wilder I can't see happening Sheridan we haven't approached Newport.

Unless people have some inside info on wilder I dunno how he's got up there

Chris Wilder would do me but I can't see it. Maybe we can conclude that it's a small volatile market and nobody really knows anything.

well I find it hard how u go from 25/1 to 4/1 I don't know what Northamphton finances actually are how much debt an so on are they actually in.

Be Intresting anyways glad that purse is falling further behind and some of the other dross names mentioned

It's all guessing games IMO, there's a lot of rumours about a certain manager returning twice in one day and obviously I don't really listen to them (pinch of salt). So we'll see, I don't know enough about Chirs Wilder - least not that I remember.

I did notice the post saying managers wanted to work with McLeod and Stead.

Hopefully all these see them partnering as strikers.

The trouble with these kind of markets is that someone sticks £20 on a long-shot, the odds shorten, someone then thinks that someone else knows something....... and they jump on the bandwagon .........which shortens the odds even further?

I heard about Steve Thompson returning too

also managers may be more attracted to the job for the players stead McLeod etc.

But decent big club at this level better budget then most and if you're any good you have a good chance of a promotion on you're cv.

So it may attract better managers at this level Sheridan has worked a shoe string budget at Newport wilder has a shoe string budget at Northamphton.

Just imagine what they could do with a top 6 budget I gaurentee we wouldn't be were we are now

The bookies haven't got it all wrong.  They are not trying to predict the next Notts County manager, they are simply offering odds with a view to making a profit.  As Tarquin says in a market as small as this one it only takes a modest bet or a fresh rumour to see the odds plummet dramatically.  I'd only take notice when someone suddenly goes 1/8 or shorter, that usually means it's a done deal.

Chris Wilder is linked with every vacant post. He was supposed to be Cambridge's new manager before SD took over.

Mark Cooper has gone from 4/1 to 6/1 then yesterday he has gone 6/1 to now 8/1

Wilder is 4/1 has now gone to 8/1

Hurst as gone from around 25/1 to now 14/1

Clarke remains at 6/1

I have a strange feeling in my stomach that Clarke or Hurst are going to get it just have this feeling not keen on either of em

And now bookmarkers start to make extra money on adjusting odds to make people sweat into gambling.

The clear favourite and next new manager will reveal itself.

I'm actually gonna stick my neck out an suggest Hurst will be the next manager based on he has lower expierence in the conference not massive difference to league 2.

His Grimsby team are always there or there about he's early 40s has managed over 400 games apparently Rotherham were intrested in him before they apointed readfern.

I just have a feeling we will go for him again that's my guess maybe it won't be him but I just have a feeling it will be him and I wouldn't mind

I would not be disappointed with Hurst, rather than jumping on the merry-go round that is habitual sacked managers going from one disaster to another.
