My Hacienda is painted red....roja......why?

A few years ago, a Mexican film company....Bandido Films, contracted my property to film a narco production here on the Altiplano.....El Infierno

Here is the film......................................children should NOT watch.

It has a lot of humour.....but some of the scenes are pretty scary......now you know why I log into PON....my "sanity" connection.......enjoy.

You can't judge a movie by a thumbnail, right? Not a big fan of international films but that trailer looks decent actually.

@jsrjay Do you see anyone familiar in the trailer? Haha....

You should have mentioned this in the claim to fame topic. :P

The previous owner told me about the film when I was signing contracts. I didn't pay much attention, but then I hired a couple of labourers to increase my perimeter wall up to 8 feet and put in steel security gates...."El Infierno" was the first thing they mentioned so I went looking for it on the internet.

Strangely enough most of the backdrops I can recognise, the junkyard is directly opposite me, the "police mordida" scene was shot 300 metres down the road opposite Walmart, the "gay execution" scene was shot in my neighbours property 100 metres away.......but I think most of my scenes were shot at night?.....the machete/baseball bat execution scene was shot outside my office window in the carpark.

It's actually quite a good film, a bit gory in places but some nice humour and some pretty sexy women.....mmmm

I watched Cartel Land recently, the real life problems seem scary, let alone a film about it all!

Tarquinbeech: Any chance you can put up a guest? I'd love to escape this madness.

Be careful how you answer that Tarquin - if you do offer refuge you'll be swamped after what we sat through today!

@Elite_pie I hope there's just enough room for me, it would be awfully crowded if Tarquin allowed more to seek refuge there!

Still that said, it could hold more than the Family Stand I suspect. Hehehe :P

Not a good day yesterday huh?

I watched the BET365 graphics, wave after wave of Womble attacks....I thought the screen was broken in the first half and had to check BBC for the actual stats!!

I had backed Under 2.5 goals pre-match, so made a few Pesos but having read all the comments on the match thread, I can understand why some might want to "hide out" in Narco-land!

I honestly hope that JF can figure out a better game plan, than trying to get 9 men behind the ball?......if he doesn't, then fans will disappear fast, and the season will fizzle out like a damp squib.

I'd love to watch this! Anywhere I can find it in decent English subtitles or dub? Hell, I'll take Italian if it's available.
