Protest after the game?

Firstly, when I said it was a "joke appointment", I meant in the eyes of most fans.

We were all busily discussing the pros and cons of "actual" current managers that were in the frame. most people, after JF was appointed, said...."who??"

I will alter "joke" to "total bemusement" if you like......but that still doesn't alter the facts......we won at Crawley, after being 2nd best for most of the game, from a wonder-strike by a guy that was immediately dropped and never selected again!!....a bit odd that....obviously scoring goals is not in the current masterplan.

We beat the bottom-club York by one goal, after squandering a 2-goal lead......and yesterday, our first shot on goal was on 46 minutes!!

No, I don't condone abuse towards Mrs T.....if I was in the UK, I would just not bother going to matches for a while until things improve....oh dear, apparently that might make me "not a true supporter"

Well it's nice to hear that the clubs owners think we are 'morons' and 'scummy xxxxx'. Plus one of their children was all over FB after the game abusing supports.

All makes for a very dark day at ML. I would like to say I didn't see it coming, but its kind of predictable.

quick to judge, eh? Its not true, believe the rumours, or me, as you wish. And please keep my 11 year old son out of this. He made a couple of posts in response to what he saw, heard in person and read.  Makes it a dark day indeed when adults are so keen to start picking on young kids to satisfy their anger.

i find it all sad and unnecessary myself.

@erindoors will the club be restricting fans freely walking near the main reception after games in the future?

I'm interested to know , was he a 'joke manager' after Tuesday night ? Or just after yesterday ?

If they had won yesterday then was he still a joke manager ? I understand the disappointment yesterday but the reaction from some is hugely knee jerk and over the top .. And some of it quite personal which is a bit unnecessary

give it a rest will you did you watch the Hartlepool highlights ? if paynter scores from1  yard we lose .

York took us to the cleaners in the second half Wimbledon destroyed us at home we had 1 shot on target yesterday to a team as bad as us.

They made 2-3 subs in minutes to go for it we made one sub after they scored and took off noble for Campbell ?

I have nothing against you at all just sometimes I'm not sure what game you watch we were poor and we didn't look like we were gonna create a thing

Firstly any abuse of any child is adhorent in any walk of life.

Secondly abuse of anyone is disgusting.

Ignoring the abuse for this point if we can....

Do you understand our annoyance, anger and frustration that we pay good money to watch the most negative tactics and attackingly bereft football we have seen since 2002. The big difference this season is that we have options yet JF won't use any of Moniz signings, strangely.

reasons why he is a joke manager

1 we play so defensive at home it's pathetic.

2 we wait til the opposition scores then take off one of our scorin midfielders noble for Campbell.

3 Stands with hands in pockets and has no solution.

4 Drops Stanley and he can't deny it now as Stanley has himself told the fans he is fit and isn't bein picked.

5 Plays hoofball tactics

6 Accringhton and Plymouth are going to be very Intresting

I take it you forget we were terrible for years before the muto dodgyness, but I agree we have a far better team than the likes of the rubbish in 2008

If you think 2008 was bad you should really talk to people who saw the early 2000's, utter utter rubbish

Give what a rest?......Newsflash for you MF...Paynter didn't score and Notts won the game ...what kind of logic is that? so if there wasn't a goal line clearance against York then Notts might have won that game? but they didn't...you can only deal with facts.

My point is calling someone a joke after such a short time and , as I keep telling you, I have not once commented on the performances as I haven't seen them but only went on highlights and radio so far...in fact , if anything , I've agreed that the home performances in particular aren't good enough but its not rocket science to spot that

The Aborah thing will become clear I'm sure but I would suggest that a manager cant be at total odds with a crowd who rate the guy

To be honest, I'm just really saddened by some fans reactions and behaviour yesterday to players and staff as its not helpful or acceptable...and that's coming from all sources including fans and media

You seem to find only negatives , even in three points at Hartlepool, which is a shame and clearly we don't agree on many things so I'll keep making my points and you keep making yours. Happy to debate and happy to post on here and lets hope for a positive on Tuesday

@Northants Pie Hey I get it , especially at home and I'm sure the manager does too and I hope it gets addressed.

It was the abuse yesterday which I think wasn't merited and a situation , in my view , that would be hugely challenging for any manager never mind a guy whos been at the club for 6 games ...and only his second at home.

So imagine you are Fullarton...you have won 3 out of 5 games, just won during the week and after 10 mins at 0 - 0 the fans are giving you pelters? not the away fans ...the home fans?

I am not defending the performance ...how could I? and yes, you pay your money , you get your say ...I just don't agree with how some fans went about that yesterday... They seem to have more negatives songs prepared for him than positives (even back to pre-Luton) which I think is a shame.

JF brought in Banton and he seemed one small positive yesterday but amongst everything else it doesn't seem a great deal

I pay 300+ money  for my season ticket and again it's okay going and nicking points away great.

But are we likely to do that at Plymouth and Accrington nope.

Also branston bought in Banton as he wanted him before when he was on trial with us when moniz said no to him.

Now the game we sat back for 90 mins and I actually thought we was away the atmosphere was non egxistant the stadium was empty the kop was bare then normal.

The pavis were even gettin wound up by the performance which is serious as they never make noise.

The tactic was just hoof it anywhere lads the goal was a joke the sub of noble instead of smith was comical I could continue but there is one thing I will agree with you on Banton played well direct quick tricky caused problems for them.

One time if Adams would of passed to Banton and no mcleod Banton was one on one to goal with a fullback he'd skinned all game but Adams had a shocker in my view

only thing il agree with you on as to date is Banton was impressive he beat his full back time an time again looked direct tricked his way into the box pulled balls back but no one was in the box.

Also we broke at one point Adams had McLeod holding a run for ages had Banton on the left with a one on one.

he played it to McLeod when he was then offside but if he played Banton in he had a one on one with the fullback back he'd skinned all game

@Modern Fan 1862 👍 Hey, yesterday was poor I totally agree and listening to it on the radio made it worse if that's possible

Tuesday night will be tough but not many easy games around at this stage of the season so lets hope for a reaction

OK, I'll bite.

1: This is the 2nd time you have quoted that post.
2: I am able to make that choice without your permission, thankyou.
3: I read the clubs facebook page, and see that someone with the surname Trew is posting comments to supporters. More than 2, I might add. As you might be able to notice in my above posts, you can clearly see I was reluctant to bring up what those comments actually were. Let's put it this way, whilst you don't think certain words you were supposed to have said are in your repertoire, they are most certainly in your sons, plus a number more.
4: Not all of the many insults were directed at fans that had attacked anyone personally.
5: Please enlighten me as to which point I have picked on your son to satisfy my anger. I heard reports of you saying things to fans, true or untrue, and I can personally see one of your relations calling fans cu**s, what do you expect me to make of it?!
6: Luckily after a reasonable amount of time the Media team did a good job in clearing up the comments.

*I would like to state that I didn't want to bring these comments up. I think in my original post leaving at 'abusing' was enough. However, I don't particularly find it pleasing to be accused of 'picking on young kids to satisfy anger', so I thought I would clarify.

OK, I'll bite, too.

1. I didn't realise there was a limit to the number of times I am permitted to quote a post.

2. I was not granting you permission, and would not seek to do so.

3. I'm so sorry I did not count the amount of times our son made comment. And I stated they were not in my repertoire only. Because such words may or may not be in my sons (picked up from that very page) is immaterial, so I don't know why you think that relevant.

4.You have no idea how many of those fans had used a private messaging facility.

5.You used my son specifically as a way to criticise me as a parent, which has nothing to do with your concerns, but does add a tasty morsel for good effect. I have no idea which member of my family used those words, nor if I had anything to do with their upbringing. It is unwise to suggest that because someone else said something, I must have done, too.

6.fair comment.

I'm sorry that you don't like the idea of that accusation. Perhaps you should have kept comments about my children our of it, though?

3. Neither did I count them, but stating that he responded twice is a complete lie. Whether or whether not (and if so, why) he picked those words up from that page is not for me to judge.

4. 100% correct, I don't.

5. At no point did I criticise you as a parent. That's another complete fabrication. All I did was state the fact that one of your children (and that was an assumption - same last name and the small picture next to his comment appeared to be of a young boy) was abusing fans on the public Facebook page.

What comments about your children? I simply stated the fact that one of your (assumed) children was calling fans every name under the sun on a public Facebook page? I have made absolutely 0 comments about your children (I know none of them, and have no idea how many you have) or your parenting skills. Complete fabrication.

Once again, you choose the option of calling me a liar. I only initially saw 2 posts from my little boy. Fact. Shows exactly the point from which you are prepared to judge.

I don't hate much in life, but injustice and liars provoke such feelings in me. Sorry you don't like that but we are all (including me) entitled to our own opinions on how people treat us. You don't much like being challenged, it would seem.

Anyway, I've had my say, you've had yours. Seems moderators here are quite happy for this site to allow you to call me a liar. Time for me to concentrate on more important things in life.

You have clearly come here with an agenda to try and make me out to appear like I'm bullying some kid, or criticising parenting skills of course which is not the case as it's all written down here! God only knows if you think I've been sending some kind of hateful messages to you or your family, but that scenario would exist only in your head.

Bye bye.

He called your comment a lie, not you a liar. It was false as you have admitted. Perhaps 'lie' is wrong, but the post quoted implies that 2 posts were made. Apparently that is not the case, so in the febrile atmosphere invoked by yesterday's awful match people are bound to get some things wrong.

I saw the responses from Callum Trew on the facebook site.He gave as good as he got.Nothing wrong with sticking up for your family Aileen, but if your going to give it, you are going to get it back as well. This is not the first time either he was on facebook giving out & you went on there telling someone to leave him alone & you were going to ban callum from there, may have been when you appointed the latest manager.

It's a good thing @GrannyPie has been in bed ill all day or she would have been using her walking sticks on some members. It's time to get behind Jamie Fullarton and all things Notts County and STOP bickering.I know how easy it is to criticise when so much seems to be going wrong - team selection, formations, managerial appointments etc but I fail to see how booing helps Notts County's cause.

who's giving it??  Callum had loads of private messages from so called supporters calling his mum and dad the most obscene things. We've  all had it. So,  ann 11 year old lost his rag. Not good, but neither can I explain away the people, some over 60 years old, who are "giving it" in private messages.  And should I really need to tell grown ups not to have a go at children? NO.
