I'm unsure when he is out of contract but would you give him another chance ? He hasn't played all season but he is still young, he is currently out with an ACL injury, he didn't look amazing under Derry but do you give him a chance to see what he's got or do you just let his contract run down and let him go?

I felt he had potential but a year old does make me sway towards releasing him.

In any case, I would hope we could find better and players not prone to injury. Of course, I wish him all the best if this was to happen. He just needs to find somewhere that he can settle and revive his career, if I was him - I'd do so by dropping down a division and work hard to get back into the football league.

As no-brainers go, they don't come any bigger than this.

Get rid at the earliest opportunity.  I'll even drive him to his next club myself.

Not good enough to take up a squad place next season, so it's a no from me. We can get better for not a lot of money.

He's still on our books? Perhaps he can do Guy Branston's job?

I do kinda feel sorry for the lad, getting an ACL injury and not having a proper chance to prove himself, that being said he should have been released with billy Daniels

Agreed but we have to move on to improve the squad.

Plenty of able and good players have been released in the past for much less, the club should not become sentimental when making informed decisions.
