I am getting and seeing a lot more comments about John Sheridan's tenure as the manager of Notts.

Today's result would seem like the majority have decided enough is enough, however I must still make it clear that I believe this would be a huge mistake - yet this is just my personal opinion. I am not sure how we can replace him whilst the takeover hasn't been complete and I do feel this would make a massive difference.

As would the January transfer window, its clear Sheridan won't give some players game time - for whatever reason this may be. He might be able to shift the balance with 3-4 players in and several so-called professionals out.

Regardless, have you say, discuss and vote!

we need to be careful but plenty have failed under the current era, so i say put more effort into completing the takeover. we played better today, so we just need to work on that right now. sacking js could undo any progress and make the next manager have more of a task on his hands.

The run is disappointing, personally I feel he needs more time , the takeover to finalise , and to make astute signings in the window , as above I'm sure with a more positive air around the lane , good leadership from the top , and those much needed new faces , a change in results will follow .

Ultimately when the new owner takes control he could well have his own ideas and whatever he goes with I personally will be backing .

Until the takeover is complete there shouldn't be any talk of John Sheridan being sacked. Do fans really want Ray to select another appointment? Leave it to Alan Hardy to call.

John has a good track record over the years. Sure, we're p**s poor at the moment, having lost seven consecutive league games, but really, how many managers have done badly at Notts only to excel elsewhere? Shaun Derry? Keith Curle? The common denominator here is Notts, and it has been for years. Sheridan needs to be given the chance to bring in some good players in January and get rid of those who are unsalvageable. But getting rid of him will solve nothing - who would actually come on board? Mark Cooper, who did a runner the first chance he got?

Sheridan is a good manager. Let him work his magic.

To get rid of John & Mark would be the most stupid of all the stupid decisions this club has taken.

He knows what he needs to do and he isnt blind to see that his signings alongside the signings of all the past managers that are still at the club are not up to it.

He put his faith into players he believed would be good enough but for whatever reason it hasnt worked out, look how many of our ex players that were sh!te during their time with us are now flying with other clubs, Jake Jervis being a prime example

Give him time and patience and we will be reaping the benefits for years to come.

Come on @irishpete it's not the most reliable of social media , but as you say we will see sooner rather than later if it's accurate .

They did alright before the circus came back to town, but did it ever leave? I know it was nothing spectacular but our downfall can be heavily linked with the timing of uncertainty of the club and false reports of the takeover.

What if AH comes in and gives him a chance and some room to trade , would you back him or be against that first important decision ?? It will be his decision and I'll back it either way .

Mr Irish please keep it friendly, we are all in the same boat and fighting for the same team, yes things get heated but no need to be insulting.
