Match Discussion: Game 13 - The Bees (H)

Featured Replies

I would give Stead a drop but I've been saying this for god knows how long (so I can't see it happening).

Jones should be back and he will make a massive difference, sorry Dicko but your quite sluggish. There's no other changes I can see happening really, KN won't make changes for the sake of it - I'd be very surprised if we reached 3 or more.

Need to set the tempo and work the ball well, can't drop any more points.

It looks like a draw for me.

I have no idea how Barnet are currently doing but I fear it will take several games to improve on from the last few performances.

19 Apr 2016 Barnet v Notts County L 3-1 League Two
26 Nov 2016 Barnet v Notts County L 3-2 League Two
19 Mar 2017 Notts County v Barnet W 1-0 League Two

I would say a draw is more likely myself.

Barnet have Shaq Coulthirst (September POTM) and John Akinde (joint top scorer in L2 last season and scorer of 20+ the last two seasons) as attacking options. If Notts aren't tight-knit at the back, I can see Barnet doing damage. I reckon it'll be high-scoring though, at least 4-5 goals in it.

Nah, we'll probably cancel each other out or do a Mansfield if we allow them to play.

I personally think it will be a closer to a draw, yet if we play well I think my heart will be right with a 2-0. It's all about the approach!

It looked like we had picked up a solid 3 point victory, yet we invited Barnet to get back into the game.

I'm not disappointed, but I think we need to be more clinical. Had the disallowed goal have stood, I don't think Barnet would have crept back into it. Credit goes to Fitzsimons because he was outstanding after Collin went off.
