Better than that standard but I just wish him the best with climbing his way back up.

He looks a decent prospect and could be someone Stevenage may look at in the future, I know Luther Wildin is a good friend of his (both have similar ability IMO).

I know there is no room for sentiment in football, but having seen his father Pedro play many times, I more than ever wanted Jordan to succeed.

I still think we were wrong to release Luther..but we move on

Most league clubs don't give players a chance to gain experience or establish themselves, Jordan Richards seemed a good player from what I have seen and I was surprised he ended up being released.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!

@CliftonMagpie"The reason most League clubs don't give players a chance" is down to finance. The emphasis is on success now, if television / solidarity payments are not large enough to cover helping first year professionals the intervening period to when they are first team ready

I think a lot of its got to do with the fact young players need time to learn, clubs want success as you mentioned and some managers see this as weakening the squad. Plus higher up there are people who will mentor you.

@CliftonMagpie "higher up"...well clubs higher up say Championship and above have the money to mentor the 1st years pros until ready.... Always think its a misnomer when the Premier have their U23 League...if you havent made it by that time into the first team, your footballing career at that level isnt going anywhere

Thing about the Premier League clubs they snap up loads of youngsters, from the ages of 14-16 they get released like flies and by time they are 18 not every club will use their young players.

The same thing happens, they end up being released but some stand out.

Notts needs to establish a way to get one or two into the squad on a regular basis, it did wonders for previous players at the club.

Well it would have been nice to think Pedro's son made it at Notts.

He may come back one day like Hawkridge has done, if he's good enough he will progress. Cream always floats.

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.
