3 goals and 3 conceded, its a shame because if the keeper played better we could have had more positives. i see no reaction from him when a goals scored and he just looks empty when he concedes.

Almost...

I feel Notts should have won and some people really need to see this desperate hope that no fault falls onto Fitzsimons needs to stop. He's at fault for all the goals, yes the defending could be better at times but most of the back four was consisting of new recruits and it's the same issue. He's gone, he's not the keeper we need and eventually these people ensuring the club that we have a keeper will then figure it out too.

I am not a goalkeeping specialist, and I don’t want to just jump on the bandwagon of blaming Fitz for everything but if we take away the goals conceded and just look at his lack of confidence, the poor command of his area his poor distribution and indecision even with the ball in his hands, something is wrong. He needs to be taken out of the firing line for his own sak as well as the club’s. The problem is, we don’t have a decent alternative ! A short term signing is desperately needed to help stop the rot.

Tootle’s return means that Turley can move into centre midfield and Brisley can also be “rested”.

I also thought Milsom replacing Vaughan in midfield was a major plus yesterday.

I didn't, I think Milsom played okay but Vaughan is way better.

I completely agree but I feel as a professional he should be self motivated towards improvement.

He just looks angry all the time.

After conceding he just acts like nothing has happened, I think he's bottled his chance big time. No other keeper would have gotten this much slack and it's only right that people call him out for it. Scott Loach sat on the bench for ages a few seasons ago playing second fiddle to Adam Collin [when people called Collin blind]. This seemed fair game but at least back then either keeper could do a job.

Now we only have one and a club scared to erect there problem.

Sloppy goals conceded, people are saying Fitzsimons is on the small side for a keeper. Maybe he's struggling partly for the reason?
