Good morning everyone, it’s a cloudy start here but pretty mild as the temperature only dropped to 10.2 overnight.

Thanks for all the comments about the daily chat thread, I’ll carry on with it but in a few weeks time i’ll be away on a cruise so I won’t be able to do it then.

Its still a bit disappointing that more people don’t join in, there were only 8 people who actually read yesterdays! As I say i’ll soldier on in the hope that more people join in and we need somewhere to find out about @GrannyPie and see how she’s doing.

I’m still aching from yesterday’s park run but today I want to get out for a walk to get a bit of fresh air, we need some shopping as we haven’t got anything for tonight’s dinner so we’ll come back via the shops, there are quite a few nice footpaths round here it’s not too urban so we can walk from the house and feel like we are in the countryside.

I hope everyone has a great day.

Getting fed up with football, can't buy a win at the moment. Not the most ideal night last night, had a tire blow out on the A38 last night on the way to the Peacock @super_ram Can you believe it?

But we still managed to get there and have our meal.

Today we're having a family day out not entirely sure where we are going but Ill just go along with it.

Have a good day everyone

Oh dear, shame about the tyre but at least you got your meal with your girlfriend. Happy Anniversary.

@samwatto2008 Happy anniversary!

Yesterday I was busy door knocking. Got a phone call to come home to find the kitchen flooded. After lots of swearing, managed to track it down to the dishwasher. Also had a leak from the waste pipe from the washer, which I think, was caused by the dishwasher laying up and moving the pipes etc...

Dishwasher now on the drive for the scrap guys and instructions to get a new pair of marigolds until Black Friday in the hopes that the cost of the dishwashers comes down a little!

Out door knocking this afternoon for an hour then planning the week delivering leaflets in my ward! The work is never done.

Wash the dishes yer sen, ya lazy bugger @hissingdwarf:joker:

We haven't had a dishwasher for ages, we had one at the last house but found it just discoloured the glasses and with there being only two of us yours truly can soon wash up, mind you we do miss one when we have guests or family come round.

Visited @GrannyPiewith @william1984, @Harrys_Mummy and young Harry this afternoon. When we arrived at the QMC the fire alarm was sounding but nobody seemed concerned. The same thing happened last Thursday as I was on my way out.I heard someone say that the alarms go off regularly.I hope there isn't a real fire anytime for all the notice people take.

Anyway granny is almost back to normal now, apart from standing ,so hopefully with some sustained physio ,to build her up,it won't be too long before she's allowed home.I just hope they don't give her physio for 2 or 3 days and then leave her for several days and undo any progress like they have done previously.

I want to be mindful not to sound like I am complaining but today's been difficult for me again.

I really need to balance a fair expectation of what I can do per a week/day, as I seem to do to much and then I am bad for the most part when I finally have time to relax. It's not enjoyable and it's frustrating to say that I have only been really active since 6:30pm.

Earlier in the day I tried to have a bath because my right knee was in a lot of pain and I kept nearly falling to sleep, despite having slept the majority of the time before.

For this reason I haven't done anything much. :(

Today i've been busy sorting the house out alot as i've not had a day at home since we came back last saturday. I have finally got most of that done now.

I just wish my toothache would go off as its been bad all day today.

Back to normal tomorrow as the kids go back to school after a mostly enjoyable 2 weeks off apart from a few things we cant change.
