Schofield 7.5 I know he gave away the free-kick that led to their goal, but the weather conditions dictated that, he caught and saved what he needed to.

Rose 11 I said last week he looked like a CM trying to play RB. This week, he looked like a RB that has played there all his life. Incredible performance.

Barclay 9 Solid. Solid. Solid. Gave away a couple of needless fouls, hence docked a point.

Stubbs 10 I wish he wasn't just on loan. This boy can play. Immense.

Milsom 10 I can't fault anything he did today.

O'Brien 9.5 It's hard to say in words what he does. He breaks up play, and plays in neatly to our front men. Can't ask for too much more. Scored.

Doyle 8.5  As above. It's so nice to see that we can't be calved through in the middle.

Boldewijn 7.5 Defensively weak in the first half. Didn't have the defensive know-how to track his man/know when to tackle and when not to.  It seems he was told as much by our new experienced players at HT.  However, improved in the second half and that goal - mais ouis.

CMS 8 Chased everything. Had to do more defensive work today, but did it well.

Stead 6.5 Didn't have the best of games today, but kept trying.

Gomis - 6 - Great movement, but needed to finish, and didn't.

Alessandra 6 Did OK.

Hewitt - 6 - Stable

Hemmings - 6.5 - OK

Based on a mean of 5

Schofield 5 Gave away free kick when adjudged to punching the ball outside of the area. Kicking woeful at times, dealt with shots which tended to be straight at him. well protected by his defence

Rose 7.5 Solid and gave a Right back performance that a Right Back should do. Throw ins in length especially a strong point. Supported the attacks well too

Barclay 7.5 Solid, unphased...building up a great partnership with Stubbs

Stubbs 8 Vocal , organises the back line so well.

Milsom 7 Solid Left Back performance as well. Not so much in attack but does what it says on the tin

O'Brien 8 Great goal, looked up and curved the ball so well. Really solid in the middle. Unlucky to be booked, as FGR player conned the ref with a dive

Doyle 8 Partnership with O'Brien is a game changer. Solid, wins second balls, distributes well

Boldewijn 8 . FGR expected our atypical kick off routine, but the break down the centre, Gomis should have scored. Very weak defensively but offers Notts a real cutting edge in attack...their keeper (MotM) saved 2 good efforts but could do nothing with his winner

CMS 6 Effective in running in the conditions , covers more ground when needed to defend.

Stead 6 Found it difficult, some of his touches and passes off the pace today

Gomis 6 could and perhaps have scored from kick off. Enzio played a delightful pass in first half, Gomis should have taken an extra step to take it wider of the keeper, shot into side netting. Offers pace but didn't really get in the game in the second half

Subs

Hemmings 7 Should have scored but underhit his flicked shot. Offers some pace when FGR defence was tiring

Alejandra 6 Laid off ball into Enzio for the goal. Frustrated when he got into a shooting position on the edge of the D, and chickened out of the shot

Hewitt 3 When you need to keep possession to run down the time so what does Hewitt do, another misplaced pass and FGR dangerously break. The guy cannot pass, end of

Will keep my eyes peeled for further ratings, as I am interested in two areas. The attack and keeper, from comments expressed to me it sounded like a good team performance.

Keep adding your predictions folks and lets discuss the ratings.

Without being there to see the whole game, i cant put my own ratings up but from the match on the radio i would say they are fair ratings.

Looking forward to more ratings being posted and can't wait to see next weeks posts if this improvement continues.Long may it last!

A pleasant but nervy afternoon with iFollow. My ratings:

Schofield 6 Inexperience showed a bit more today than in his previous matches - punched a couple of crosses I felt he should have caught, leading to jittery moments in the penalty area.

Rose 8 Solid and committed, excellent performance.

Barclay 8 Solid, competitive and good in the air.

Stubbs 8 It's hard to believe that this bloke only had half a dozen league appearances under his belt before joining us. Has obviously been taking notes off his dad, conducts himself like an experienced campaigner.

Milsom 7.5 Good left-back performance, broke up the play well.

O'Brien 8 You always know what you're getting with Jimbo. Really solid, well-taken goal.

Doyle 8 Often broke up FGR's play. Nothing flashy, but reads the game well and rarely wastes possession.

Boldewijn 7 Really struggled defensively at times, but his goal was superb. A turning point for our club?

CMS 6 Very hard-working off the ball, constantly getting back to put tackles and blocks in. Had little impact going forward, might be more effective in an attacking sense in games where we have more possession.

Stead 5 Probably our weak link yesterday. Hard-working as ever, but squandered a couple of promising openings through imprecise passing.

Gomis 6.5 An extra point for frightening the home defence to pieces and getting himself into some superb positions, half a point knocked off again for failing to capitalise on them. Once that first goal comes we'll have a superb signing.

Subs

Hemmings 7 Lively and dangerous, unlucky not to score.

Alessandra 6 Did alright, held onto the ball in the closing stages.

Hewitt 4 Maybe a bit cruel as he wasn't on for long, but losing possession cheaply in the closing stages could have been costly.
