Truckers

Anybody else been watching the drama series "Truckers" on BBC1? Written by Notts fan William Ivory and set in Nottingham with plenty of Notts County references. Been really good TV, I'm not one for TV dramas normally but I've watched every episode of this one, unmissable! Shame it finished tonight, that'd be my one complaint - that the series was so short

Billy Ivory does some good stuff, I missed this one, hopefully I will be able to get it on Catchup.

I was lucky enough to go to the Gala Performance of Steak Diana Ross - Diary of a Football Nobody written by Billy Ivory, which was on at the Playhouse about this time last year it was a really good night.

I was a little late watching it, as I don't watch all much tv.

I seen the first one about two weeks ago, then a few days later I caught the 2nd episode. I have to say I enjoyed it, there was a few who I wanted to reach out to my screen and be able to throttle. The accent isn't quite 'spot' on as people suggest, as some differ from it but I really try not to be overly constructive. The first episode was quite gripping, so how many was made?

3-4? I didn't realize I had missed so many.

Yeah, they refused to air a second season. Said the ratings wasn't good enough and that people wasn't interested in a Nottingham based drama. William Ivory told me this, he said the ratings was good though.

Would love to see it continued.
