Walsall (H)

It sounded like a very solid performance and win against Walsall yesterday. Did any of you see it? What did you make of the players' performances?

I watched the highlights, it looked extremely poor and like nothing had changed from the goal conceded. Yes, it's all about fitness but goals like this are still a concern. The positive comes from the way the players responded, Enzio scored a very decent goal, then recieved a poachers goal.

I know Walsall fans aren't happy and despite it being a friendly, their manager Darrell Clarke wasn't happy with their defending and the final 30 minutes.

It sounds like the performance wasn't exactly flash by either teams, yet Notts dugged deep and got the win.

Notts needs to show this type of fight in the National League, clubs won't allow us to have the ball for long so we must learn to use it. The physical side of it also massively concerns me, as Walsall are more relaxed without possession.
