It's going to some occasion at the Lane. 2 rivals in a winner takes all clash. Win that and it's off to sunny Torquay. Bring it on!

Should we get through, I think Torquay away is preferable to Stockport

I still can't get over the final being played at Ashton Gate, yet at least the ground looks like a poor version of Meadow Lane.

Means a day out in Bristol with a quick couple of hours that the wife can go shopping on her own for a bit.

Not impressed it’s there as would much rather been at Leicester or Villa etc…

But, if we get there, I’ll be getting the tickets and putting the black and white scarf out of the car window on the way down!

I actually think Notts will benefit more from having played Chesterfield, the right result against Torquay and I think confidence will be sky high.

In all fairness, Ashton Gate has been done up since we last went there and looks like a pound shop Old Trafford now. Capacity isn't far shy of Derby either. And many clubs use the summer to relay their pitches, so getting a ground probably wasn't as easy as it sounds.

All the same, it's a shame it isn't at a larger ground. Any variation of the four semi finalists would command a decent crowd in normal times. Salford v Fylde this ain't.

I like Bristol. It reminds me of Cork City (Ireland). Cork is the nearest city to me. Anyone looking for something to do will have plenty of choice. It's a historic city. I'd recommend a visit to the Clifton Suspension Bridge. It's incredible. It's probably easiest to get the bus in that direction and ask the drive to let you off at the nearest stop. That's what I did.
