If you learn something from every game, there shall come a point in time, when you should never lose... Jimmy Sirrel

Ebosele was immense for them, had the beating of Taylor and had him sussed defensively. Imagine he will probably be in/around their first 11 unless they make a whole load of singing soon....

Otherwise, you'd expect a L1/2 club to loan him.

Is Festy Ebsele the player who kept pretending to be injured? Also, dived in the first half attempting to win a penalty?

I believe the other diver was Kamil Jóźwiak, as Cal pointed him out to myself and Jake as we weren't sure.

Personally, I dislike players who dive and resort to under handed tactics - with Jóźwiak making gestures into the KOP after the first goal from the corner (not due to any form of taunts or abuse, just a cocky tool).

Yes, Ebosele was the one who rolled around like he'd been shot at the faintest touch.  He didn't need to, because he looks a very promising player.  If Jóźwiak was their blond number 7, he was the one who blatantly dived to try and win a penalty.  Also the one who appeared to elbow Kyle Cameron in the face off the ball.

What right do you have to tell me I'm wrong?  You're not my Granddaughter.

There's probably more riding on these friendly games than we appreciate; a lot of these youngsters will be competing for a starting position/ place in the squad. Winning a penalty could help their cause.

I'm certainly not condoning it, but young players these days go down fairly easy. We are by no means angels (Rodrigues).

Ebosele for me went down far too easily - whereas the blond lad dived.

This. I suspect a few forgot these young players are in with a massive shout of starting in the Championship next weekend due to the mess Derby are in. As a young pro, anything you can do to make an impact, has to be done to grab that shirt, now or further on in the season.

Admittedly, he did over exagerate a little at times, but in his head, I assume, he's thinking if I get pulled down in the box for a pen, then that's another massive tick in the plus column from the manager.

Not the best way to play, but it is getting him talked about! Tbh,  I thought he was pretty classy all game. Perfect type of player for us at the minute. Young, eager to play and obvious class.
