Poor defending, keeper shouldn't have gone to ground during the pass - most coaches or professional goalkeepers would say the same. Yet, I think he wouldn't have saved it even if he did remain on his toes, as it was such an inviting ball to their scorer - whilst our lot just didn't defend.

I should clarify that DKE does OK, and this type of goal will happen due to our tactics - I do think he could've gone for the ball.

Leaving Richard Brindley to be the player behind him to block or then deal with the ball.

The other two players of ours, shameful really.

This is an area where we need to start trying to make improvements. First organisation, second awareness, thirdly, attempting to deal with threats. Fourthly, being compact enough to deal with man marking - i.e ensuring that players are covered, and the ball is harder to attack. Lastly, avoid leaving defending just to one person - everyone should at least try.

I didn't have a meltdown due to this result, I realise goals like this will be scored but the majority of times Notts concedes comes from the same old issues.

A field where dreams become reality.

Easy goal to concede when you switch off like that, no way should teams be able to get that close to our keeper.
