  1. Alex Kirk seems like a promising talent. Fingers crossed he impresses during the trials and becomes a solid addition to the squad. We could always use versatility.
  2. Jatta’s goals were well-taken. I think he's going to be a significant player for us. We need that kind of decisiveness in front of goal. Fingers crossed he keeps this form up!
  3. The current system should be maintained, with no points awarded for a loss and one point for a draw, irrespective of the circumstances. Implementing a new point system like this could potentially spoil the essence of football.
  4. The move to recruit new players was necessary for Crawley to compete in League One. Hepburn-Murphy and Malone are solid signings. It’s part of football; players come and go.
  5. I’ve put my hat [crown] in the ring for the Graphic Designer position. I have a solid understanding of Photoshop, although my design skills can be a bit sporadic. However, I’m eager and willing to contribute. If selected, I look forward to assisting in this role. ????
  6. I have no regrets about choosing the gaffer after we secured promotion. It seemed appropriate to give KingWilliams a try, but then he departed. Long live KingMaynard! My suggestion would be to revert to DeadlyDennis, mate.
  7. These are pretty impressive. I appreciate the hand-painted details and the variety in their shirts.
  8. Wrexham’s blunder is quite significant, making them appear more like a comedy club than a serious team.
  9. I wouldn’t have been opposed to seeing Tom Crawford return here, but I believe he’s joined a team where he’ll get more playing time, which is what he needs at this point in his career. I hope he thrives with his new team.
  10. The number of season ticket sales is impressive. The club should be quite pleased with the total. We might see a few hundred more by the start of the season.
  11. Best of luck to @Piethagoram on their promotion to the team, and a big thank you to @Fan of Big Tone of for their contributions to PON.
  12. Connell Rawlinson has earned my admiration during his tenure here. He’s a decent chap who always gave his best. I hope he finds a new club soon. After five seasons and less playing time, a fresh start could be beneficial for him.
  13. Those faded stripes add such a modern touch to the classic design. well done to the club for this innovation!
  14. He’s such a gifted player that it’s difficult not to wish him success at a higher level. However, I hope Notts remains firm and turns down any offers.
  15. Hold on, was the picture supposed to be taken by Will Evans? That would indeed be even stranger. If he was in conversation with Notts, that might somewhat deflate the rumours.
  16. It’s not an entirely new site, merely a new design. It’s a template applied over the old design, and all the clubs utilise the same CMS. While the design is appealing, it’s not a new site per se, just a fresh appearance.
  17. He seems to have a great attitude. Excited to see him bring his creative playmaking to Meadow Lane!
  18. Gareth Southgate says he doesn’t pay attention to the fans’ comments or their negativity. However, he seems to have done everything they asked for. He gave Cole Palmer more playing time and dropped Trent Alexander Arnold. Honestly, I think we missed Trent. His passes could have helped us against Slovenia and given us more time on the wings. We’ve made it through, and we just need to keep improving. Sometimes, winning isn’t pretty, but it’s enough.
  19. I’m really worried about them. I wish the clubs would unite and try to rescue them. Things are looking bleak.
  20. Slovenia was a difficult team to play against. They exaggerated fouls and often fell with minimal contact. The referee seemed to encourage this behaviour. Cole Palmer is a fantastic player who deserves more playing time. I’m not sure Harry Kane did enough. I would have preferred to see Ollie Watkins. Despite these issues, they attacked and created opportunities. This is a significant improvement, but there’s still work to do.
  21. England’s performance was better, but there’s still room for improvement. They didn’t create enough opportunities. Gareth Southgate should have made changes more quickly. Cole Palmer was impressive!
  22. Great to see McDonald joining the team! Excited to see what he can do for Notts County this season. ????
  23. These days, folks will consume anything on matchdays, but I favour a pie and chips. Keep it straightforward.
  24. I’d fancy two central midfielders and a centre-back, I reckon there are plenty of folks who could provide competition. Let’s not overlook that Jodie Jones can operate as an attacking midfielder, and it’s been hinted that he might be deployed further up the field.
  25. I may have prematurely bestowed upon him the title “KingMaynard”, but who wouldn’t want to see an underdog turn their career around? I long to see the boss grinning, as it signifies he isn’t fretting over matters beyond his control and his attention is entirely on coaching, preparation, and upcoming matches. It’s all too easy to lose one’s composure otherwise!
