Rod McDonald’s Form: Too Good to Drop?
Rod McDonald is solid at the back. He’s found his space and made it his own. I can't see how he can be dropped when he's playing this well. He’s one of the first names I’d put on the team sheet.

Weekly Chat Monday 29th Sept to Sunday 6th October
I’m starting to think about what I want to do after school finishes this year. I’m not sure if I want to go to college or try to get an internship. Both have their good points, but I’m leaning more towards getting straight into work and learning on the job. If anyone has any advice, I’d be glad to hear it.

Who is your Man of the Match v Crewe?
I voted for Nick Tsaroulla. He played really well and fully deserved the goal.

Fans Forum
It all feels like a lot of fuss over nothing. It's good that the club is trying to be open, but when the questions are sent in beforehand, it gives them time to plan their answers. That takes away some of the honesty.

Match Discussion: EFL Trophy Round 2 - Barnsley (H)
I hope Harry Griffiths is better protected than the team we last put out in this competition. That group lacked match fitness and the changes in defence left him exposed. It's fair to give returning players a chance to get back to league standard, but it shouldn't mean the keeper ends up taking the blame because the players in front of him are either unfamiliar with each other or tiring too soon.

The award is great recognition but he’s right to focus on wins over personal stats. Good attitude.

SWEET FA.
It’s a sad way for a well-known phrase to start, but that’s how a lot of old sayings came about. Many of them have strange or dark stories behind them, even if we don’t think about it now.

No More Mixed Messages
@DangerousSausage If it turns out that Alassana Jatta missed the game because his agent was trying to push through a move after a bid was turned down, and the back spasm was just made up to help with that, then both Jatta and his agent should be fined by the FA. It would be hard to prove, of course, but if that’s what happened, it’s not fair on the club or the fans. His agent doesn’t seem very clever if that’s the way he’s going about things.

Match Discussion: League Two - Tranmere Rovers (A)
I didn’t go to the match, but I was glad to see that we won. I didn’t expect much, so it was a nice surprise. It’s good to read that Notts handled a physical side well, even if the other team wasn’t that strong. That kind of game can still be tricky, so it’s a positive sign.

Match Discussion: League Two - Bromley FC (A)
I just want to see further signs of improvement, there have been teams who have had slow starts and gone on to win the league or at the least reach the playoffs. I think we just need to be patient and hope the lads just start expressing themselves on the pitch through good performances.
